McFadden's

On saturday i went there whit my friends from out of town for my birthday. I had my brother and his wife from Texas, 2 mexican friends, and 2 other hispanic friends from work. We had reservations from a week ago. When we get there i go in my wife goes in the pub and the rest of my friends are told they need mexican passports to go in the bouncer said all u need mexican passports or blue booklet passports which are not needed by Mexicans .... i told him there is no such thing as mexican passports cuse they are given by american cousolates he said those ar easy to fake then the bouncer said we dont accept military canadian hawaii wisconsin alaska ids here the cops dont let us there was 2 cops there we asked them they said its up to them if they let u in the manager came out and said ohh well i dont know show me 2 types of ID my friend showed them 3 types of id and still nothing u can t pass then he said its because of the liqour law not allowed to use mexican ids before we got there my friends have gotten into other clubs in westagte .......... so no mexicans canadians hawaii or alaskan residents dont even try and its expensive more

I do not recommend McFadden's to anyone! If you do not go in when you have a wrist band the drinks are very expensive. If I am going to pay top dollar for a drink I would rather be in a place that deserves it. The staff is rude, both doormen and bartenders. I asked to speak to a manager about drinks that were on my final bill that were not mine. After waiting for 25 min a guy came to talk to me. He tried making me believe "i really did order those drinks" then proceeded to make a rude comment to another employee (not realizing I heard). I ended up having to cancel the transaction through my bank. If you want to go anywhere I do not recommend McFadden's. Save yourself the time and money. more

Beware! McFaddens in Glendale is trying so hard to rebuild their image that they are rewarding their employees to leave good reviews "acting" as customers so they can drive up their business and out number the bad reviews they are getting. This place is a joke! There are way better places to go at Westgate, Hells Half Acre, Saddle Ranch, and Yard House! Skip McFaddens! You've been warned if your looking for TRUE customers who are leaving their comments and reviews, it just might be an employee! more

McFadden's is a place that knows how to throw a party. My girls and I went out to have a great night out. We wanted to have fun, dance, and drink. We never expected it to be one of the best nights ever! We walked around Westgate trying to find a nice place to drink. Somehow we ended up in front of McFadden's. Walking in we found out about the dress code. I like this becuase not everyone off the streets is allowed in. Next, we found a table on the patio. A beautiful waitress greeted us right away and told us about their specials. I was able to drink $5 vodka redbull all night, my fav. The waitress was friendly and kept us laughing all night. As it got later into the night, my friends and I decided to dance. The DJ was great! He had so much personality and played all of my fav songs. After that we decided to go up to the bar. The bartender was quick to getting our order. We asked him to make us his favorite shot. They were amazing. Shortly after, we noticed some guys running around in costumes. We stopped them to ask what they were doing, and come to find out, they work there! It was their job to throw a great party. They definitely need a raise because they did such a good job. They were even able to hook us up with some free shots. My girls and I had so much fun at McFadden's. It is our new place to go out. Their customer service is exceptional and they know how to mix the drinks. more

I had a surprise party for my wife and had 30 people in attendance. I am 50 years old and well respected in the community. My son was wearing a baseball hat and a security guard with Westgate made him leave the place. When I found out he was ejected for wearing a hat(something they gave us no warning of) I went to the head of security and asked him why he was ejected. He was very short and rude with me. I said if he was not allowed back in I was going to have all of my guests leave and I would settle up without a tip. That is when they said I was not allowed back in. They actually kicked me out because I said I was unhappy with this and would not leave a tip...unbelievable! I asked the Party Planner (Sarah) if she could talk some sense into them and she played dumb. They did bring me my bill and added a tip on automatically. Then there was a Glendale Police Officer (Gestapo) who said if I didn't sign the check that I was going to jail. I signed the bill because I didn't want to go to jail. Since then I am disputing the bill and will only pay what I rightfully owe. All in all I was embarrased because I picked a place where the management has no clue how to run a bar, the security at Westgate are low class, low paid , unprofessionals who wanted to sit there and insult me while I was waiting at the front door for the check and for my guests to leave. In closing if you are planning an event at Westgate or McFaddens after 10 PM do not wear a hat. LOL Furthermore beware of the lack of intelligence that the Westgate security personell have because insults to someone's personal life there is no excuse for. It must make them feel more superior to put someone down. Then they feel they are high and mighty. After everything is said and done we all went to another place on the West Side of town and had a blast and a good laugh about McFaddens. Please Beware of Westgate and McFaddens. Nobody deserves to be belittled! more

Out of any bar I have been to, this place has way too many rules about dress code. It is definitely not Scottsdale like others have said. I went to attend a party that was supposed to be thrown there for a friends wife's birthday and they treated us like peasants thatcouldn't afford to be in their bar. I was in shock how bad they treated us, especially when we were in a big party that they knew we were throwing at their bar. Spending big bucks and they just denied it. To add, the food that they had prepared for our party was horrible and cold. I do not know where they get their food. (Maybe from the foodbank). And the plates and silverware were not washed correctly. Had water stains all over them. The only thing that I can say positive about their is that the beer is good. But you could go anywhere for a beer. I do not Suggest McFadden's to anyone especially how their security thinks they are all high and mighty like they are god or something. Very Rude. more

So I hit up McFadden's at Westgate last weekend and I'm sooo happy I did!! I went there with a couple of my girlfriends for a ladies night out and it was one of the best times I've had in a long time!! We loved the friendly staff and wonderful service! Our server always made sure we were taken care of and was really quick to get us our drinks and food! I would recommend the fish and chips! They were delicious!! And I loved my cranberry vodka drink! We danced the night away and went home all smiles!! It was a night to remember! I would definitely go back!! :) i'm sooo pro mcfadden's! more

I've lived all over the country and have been to a lot of clubs in a lot of cities and McFaddens is one of my all time favorites. The atmosphere is always fun and the music is good. The like the fact that they have a dress code to keep the riff raff out. The people are cool and the employees are always there to accomodate. Doesn't hurt that the girls are attractive and wearing very little :) more

can you say a good freakin time!!! a few of my friends and myself went to mcfaddens a couple weekends ago and had a blast. The DJ was spinning some good tunes, the place was full of good looking girls, the bartenders were bad ass, good strong drinks, not to mention the bikini contest. One of the bartenders had us fill out a comment card for a chance to win a free happy hour. of course i was like yeah whatever but i filled it out anyways... low and behold about a week later i got a phone call inviting me back this saturday for free drinks from 9-11 and my friends got $2 drinks.... how could you turn that down? so yes i will be going back and recommend that others also go check the place out. its a good time and its pretty bad ass... ive heard rumors of a slip-n-slide... im tryin to check that out, the place is rad. more

First of all let me tell you, I HAD A HELL OF A TIME!!! This place Rocks!!! Great happy hour,$2 drinks $4 appetizers(very tasty)!!! Then BANG!!! Night life begins. Eye candy everywhere bartenders appear out off nowhere, line at the door to get in and the place is packed, music is bumping, people dancing> I could not believe the energy and friendliness of this place and the staff. I will be back!!! more

Had an amazing time.. I hadn't been out in a while and when my best friend told me she won a VIP party at McFaddens I was down!!!!! There was a bit of a line but I wasn't in to much of a hurry. Once I got in I enjoyed my amazing two dollar cran and vodka. The server was very prompt at getting my drinks to me when I asked and I loved the open dancing on the bar!!!! The server even asked me to sign up for a happy hour!! I couldn't jump on the opportunity any faster!!!! I had a hell of a time and still waiting for my winning phone call for my VIP party!!! more

Their service is repulsive. I waited in line for over 50 minutes only to be told I could not enter. Maybe because I was white. Maybe because I was older than the average crowd. Maybe because I did not have an affliction t-shirt on. Regardless, this business does not deserve your time. Cons: longest line, least reward more
