McDonalds of Covington

I think McDonalds in Covington has changed alot in the past few months. Their drive thru has improved a whole lot. Their food is more fresh and hotter. And they have become more speedy. I use to go to the Maple Valley McDonalds and let my girls play but I think they went under new management their food has gotten more over cooked, not as fast, and their play area smells like dirty feet. And if your older and not young and pretty they dont take the time to say "have a nice day"; "thank you for coming"; things of that nature. To were Covington McDonalds treats every one equal. And besides Covington McDonalds has more business then Maple Valley one and Burger King (of Covington). And I won't go there with Burger King in Covington. Only that don't ever eat there. McDonalds used to make good food, and the quality used to be comparable across all their stores. This location disproves that quickly. Staff is under-trained, and drive thru personnel often don't know how to take your order so it appears on the screen to avoid errors. About 1 out of every 5 trips I need to park and return items that were messed up. Fries are almost always cold here, and salty enough to attract wild deer. I've even tried to get around it by ordering fries no salt, but that just doesn't work here. The only reason they get 2 instead of 1 stars is that they do get things right every now and again. Whether they do it by skill or luck doesn't matter, they just do. I'm done with the crap shoot though. Who cares if it's the fastest in and out drive through right by my house. I can come home a different way and stop at the one by route 18 in Maple Valley and be happy EVERY time. more
