Lovely and relaxing...but close to lots of fun! 1/20/2010

Beautiful rooms with balconies and deep soaking tubs. There are TV's in the bathroom also so you can watch a movie while you relax in a bubblebath. Room service was delicious...and not terribly expensive for this part of Miami (though certainly not cheap!) The hotel itself is in a prime location to walk to bars and restaurants, but if you just want to hit the lobby bar, that was excellent as well! The Caramel Apple Martini is amazing.. and potant! Pros: Rooftop pool, close to tons of bars and clubs and restaurant Cons: elevators are few and take a long time more

Romantic 10/23/2006

The round Japanese hot tubs on every balcony with there trellis of vines for privacy make this hotel a wonderful weekend ROMANTIC GETAWAY. Lots of things to do and enjoy in the Grove withing walking distance. We stayed while the hotel was being remodeled and were given a great rate because they said it was noisy. However the work crews were not there on the weekend which is when we stayed. Had a fantastic time and they even have a welcome reception with free wine and hors d'oeuvre. My boyfriend loved the huge plasma t.v. in the room. Very romantic..nice for a weekend getaway. more

Mayfair Hotel and Spa - Classy digs in Coconut Grove 7/17/2006

First of all, the Mayfair combines a strong sense of style with its gourmet Asian fusion restaurant Ginger Grove and the Jurlique Spa under one roof. Make sure you soak up the atmosphere in the bar and outdoor atrium. Beautiful brand new rooms and marble bathrooms. Hot tub on every balcony. The staff was courteous and our meals were creative and exceptional. My husband and I are coming back. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We booked online and had a wonderful stay. Romantic Weekend Getaway 5/18/2003

I have stayed in many hotels including some luxurious ones but the Mayfair gives the impression that it is all for you. It is an excellent romantic weekend getaway for young honeymooners, every room (private balcony)is equipped with a japanese jacuzzi, comfortable beds, Dining and nightlife are just steps away.
