Horrible Horrible service!!! Do not frequent this place. I had my husband's 40th surprise birthday here in February and I tried to use a Groupon yesterday and they refused to honor it. I even asked if they would just honor the amount I paid for the groupon and they refused. After spending 1000's of dollars in this place I was cheated out of $38. Really? This is how they treat their best return customers... Unfortunately I will NEVER be going back. more

Are you ready to fall in love? 2/1/2011

I had my engagement party there this past July, it was an easy decision to make as I have frequented this restaurant several times a week. I actually craved their chicken salad (try it) while I was away. The engagement party was amazing. You don't find many family owned restaurants with the class and love that this restaurant has. Chef Tifford, Randy, ....and everyone else..superb. Some of my fav's Crab cakes Crab Dip Key West Rueben Club sandwhich.... oh, let's be honest....the entire menu is amazing. Try it, trust me.. more

Absolute Worst Service Experience, Boring Food 8/14/2010

The absolute worst experience I have ever had in ANY restaurant, ANY WHERE... the Chef and the Manager need to go back to Hospitality 101 OR get jobs in another field.\r Food was mediocre, even for the reasonable prices. Service was very slow.. Waitress would disappear for large blocks of time... maybe because it was ladies night and they didn't really want to deliver... even that was forgivable, not a place I would rush to go back to but... the real story is how the Chef and Manager handled this incident ....\r We had an issue. Chef came over and YELLED at us like we were little kids!! NO polite reprimand, NO request to quiet as we were disturbing the other guests. \r The stupidity and audacity of the Chef AND Manager to fuel the fire instead of quell it was outrageous... I don't care how good the food (and it was nothing special!!! ), lousy service and a management that doesn't know how to handle guest relations is totally unacceptable. I've lived in Winter Park for over 20 years, I will NEVER set foot in that establishment again!! (Nor will any of the other women I was with.) If the Manager were to say 'good riddens' that's fine with me, he aught to read Danny Meyers' book ""Setting the Table"" to learn how to treat guests in the HOSPITALITY industry!!!!\r Pros: location, ambiance more

Bistro has the best Thursday ladies' night 8/6/2010

I frequent the Bistro for both lunch and dinner. The first time I had the new steak sandwich I thought I was going to have to have a second. It's like crack. Unbelievable! What is in that sauce! They have a hopping Thursday night ladies' night too and everyone has a great time. Often two or three deep at the bar yet no one ever has to wait for drinks. It probably helps that the Thursday bartender is as sweet and friendly as she is efficient. Easy on the eyes too. *wink* more

The food is always great and they serve a must have Key West Reuben. The service is top notch. I highly recommend the Bistro as a business lunch spot or a nice dinner for a great price! more

great place, hosted a bridal shower there, LOVED IT 2/25/2009

Co-hosted a bridal shower there, and from day 1 the owner was great, helpful and professional.\r It was so pretty and perfect for the shower, the food was great, the service was awesome, and I have to say all the guest enjoyed it. I would recommend it, and I can't wait until I get back to that area to enjoy it again.\r I love that they worked with us on the menu, even cut and served our cake.\r TRY IT YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!! Pros: Ambience was great, loved it secret hide away, very nice, food was yummy Cons: none, but I guess you could say may be hard to find/location more

Intimate Setting / Great Food / Attentive owner and friendly staff 8/15/2008

Bistro on Park Avenue is that perfect place for a quiet, intimate dinner. Owner run, including the chef, the food is first rate, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere delightful. You cannot go wrong picking Bistro on Park Avenue for any occassion. Sunday brunch is a great time to eat there. Their pancakes are absolutely phenomenal. We have eaten there at least 10 times in the past 6 months and have never had a bad meal. Dinner at Bistro on Park Avenue followed by a relaxed stroll on Park Avenue is as good as it gets.\r Pros: Intimate European Like Setting, Service, Menu Cons: Little difficult to find - set back from street in a hidden garden area more

great setting - everything ok 7/28/2008

The Bistro is in the heart of Winter Park, yet has a wonderful out-of-the way setting. Undoubtedly it would do more business if there was signage on Park Avenue. Regardless, it is a nice restaurant, but not a great one. The food, service and wine list are all adequate to good. Nothing stands out, but nothing is bad either. I do go back, but it's for the atmosphere and not the food. Pros: absolutely great setting in Winter Park Cons: nothing else stands out more

Best Bistro ever! 6/19/2008

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the food is out of this world. The service was excellent. I love the Oyster Po Boy; It just melt in your mouth. I have to say that I've always had a great meal everytime I visit Bistro. Another Favorite of mine is the Shrimp Salad on Ciabatta Bread. And the Bartender is fabulous. It is the best bistro I've been to. Pros: Everything on the menu tastes and looks good. Cons: I should have known about this place sooner. more
