Horrible customer service. We spent thousands of dollars on a new bedroom set. When our $900 mattress turned out to be defective three months later, we were told that the ONLY thing we could do was swap the mattress for another one. No store credit (which it states as an option on their website), we were only able to get another mattress. When the men came to check the defective mattress so that we could return it, one waited until they were upstairs in my bedroom before asking me if I had measuring tape. They brought their yardstick to measure the body impressions that were 2.25 inches only after sleeping in the bed for three months. So, I had to leave them alone in my bedroom to get something for them that they should have brought with them. They said someone would call me in a day or two. After a week, I called them. They still needed a day to get back to me, just to tell me I could not get credit. I told them I'd call the credit company that we took out the loan from that they work with. They told me to ""go ahead, but they will just call me"", and explained how he would tell them not to let us stop the payments. Talk about bullies! He then told me how great the customer service was. This is still not resolved, and I am so very disappointed that someone could spend thousands of dollars and be treated horribly. more

hey people around Fort Drum or Watertown - do NEVER buy anything at masseys furniture barn in watertown!!!! i just bought a coffee table there 2 weeks ago - i said i want a black table - he ordered it out of the catalog and told me it would be there in 10 days - i called in after 10 days because i havent heard from them yet and i got told that somebody would call me back - i waited till the next day and called in again and once again was promised a call back - after i called in the 3. time i finally got somebody on the phone who called me back the next day to tell me the table is there and would get delivered on friday! so finally today (5 days after i got told i would get it) i got the table delivered in the wrong color! so i call in and all i get is an attitude and they offer me to order a new one and it would be there in like 2 weeks - so i got mad and get told to ease up!!!!! REALLY!!! so i told them that i want my money back right now and i just got explained that they cant cash it out to me and will put it back on my card and it will probably be there on monday ....... its nice masseys furniture messed up big times and the costumers can pay for their mistakes - this is great - i will never ever go there again!!! so people be warned if you plan to get stuff from them! more

Do NOT buy anything here. 3/15/2010

We bought a chair from here. We were expecting it to be delivered a week before we were to have family in from out of town. The day of the delivery they were nowhere to be found. Finally my wife called, and they said they couldn't deliver the chair because it was damaged. We scheduled a delivery for the day before our family was to arrive. When the next delivery day came we were to have the item delivered during the day. They finally delivered the chair at 8pm. Just after the delivery people left we discovered that the chair was damaged. We called back and the person who answered said they would have the sales person call me. He never called. I called again and asked them to come pick up the chair because they delivered it damaged. Finally my sales person called me back and began haggling with me over the price of the chair. We did receive a small refund for the item, but I will never do business with this store again. Pros: They sell furniture Cons: Don't stand behind there product, don't deliver on time, etc more

Poor Customer Service 9/18/2009

The furniture was delivered on time but after the purchase service was terrible. The sectional we purchased had a faulty reclining mechanism that was discovered within 2 weeks of delivery. They would not exchange the piece when asked but were going to repair it, 4 months later the sectional is still sitting broken in our living room and now the love seat is breaking. They will still not refund our purchase so we are to try to get some help with our lemon sectional. Cons: does not honor service agreements in timely manor or contact more
