Great Pizza 5/23/2004

The best place in Richmond to grab a good pie. Done like you would expect in NYC. Nice thin (but not too thin) crispy crust with ample cheese. The subs there are also some of the best you will find in town. Note though, if your looking for a fancy decor and speedy pizza, this is not the place. The food though is well worth the wait. Yo ... this pizza is off the hook ... i'm from philly and this pie rival any corner pie from philly ... the sauce ... is banging ... the crust ... slim goody style ... crispy crunchy ... ew la la .. good GOD almighty ... to sum it up ... I went to high school at Saint Gertrude, an all-girls Catholic school in walking distance of Mary Angela's. We spent almost every off-campus lunch and half-day lunches there hanging out in our plaid skirts and chowing down on the huge, delicious slices of pizza and tasty subs.
