I have been a customer of Martin's since 1984. I have always enjoyed thier delicious breakfast food. The biscuits are great along with the steak, tenderloin, gravy, eggs etc..... Recently Ive noticed a shrinkage in the biscuits to the point where my usually large biscuit is now the size of what the small one used to be. I was curious to see what a small actually looked like because it would have to be the size of a can biscuit to justify my large one as being large. At first I noticed they were getting flat and not big and fluffy like before , then my last two trips I noticed a dramatic downsize of the diameter of the biscuit . Where I used to get a biscuit and a sweet tea and leave satisfied , I now eat this and Im actually still hungry. Downsizing food portions to retain the same price isnt the answer as in my case there are other options for my biscuit in the morning and I will reluctantly pursue them. People arent blind fools and do realize when you decide to give them less for the same amount of money. In my opinion that is much worse than raising the price a little and leaving the portion size as is.
