The Crab Cobb Salad was awful. All the ingredients that go into a Cobb Salad were put in a food processor then pressed into a mold, unmolded and served with a sauce. About two teaspoons of lump crab meat. were sprinkled on top. It was like eating grass clippings. Pros: Nice atmosphere Cons: Crab Cobb Salad more

Best Gumbo in New Orleans?!? 4/10/2009

The patio @ Martinique is tres fabuloso! Very romantic.\r \r Our dinner was superb - the fresh fish delicious, dessert divine, and did I mention the gumbo?!!!!! Pros: Pretty much everything Cons: a bit pricey, but worth it more

Very POOR! 3/9/2008

Brunch at Martinique Bistro was one of the most disappointing meals that I have experienced in New Orleans. To put it mildly, service was awful and the food was not much of an improvement. To start, I had the tomato soup. It was very salty and since my server never brought us water, I was dying of thirst. For my main course, I ordered the Tuna salad, which was very dry and tasted like liquid smoke. I hope things improve, but I will never be returning to find out. Pros: nice outside seating. Cons: we were seated next to propane tanks more

Bad Service 12/9/2006

We were seated in the courtyard late this summer and were instantly swarmed with mosquitoes as soon as we sat down. Our waitress declared she was allergic to the coils that were keeping other guests bite free - finally I had to walk over to another table and pick one up myself. I guess maybe it went straight to her head because we finally had our bread brought to us by another waiter after we had finished our entrees. And why couldn't we just move inside? The air conditioner must have been set on about 55. Food was fine but not the best ever. I didn't find it seemed like a french bistro at all except for the meat dominated menu. Pros: Eat here Cons: And be eated alive more
