I injured my low back at work in June of 1997. The pain was so bad that when I hit the break while I was driving home that day, I literally cried out in pain. I then re-injured my back in the same area in December of 1998. The compan's doctor treated the first injury. The company's doctor prescribed muscle relaxants for two weeks. The second injury was treated by a different company doctor. The second doctor prescribed stretching exercises and Advil. In early 1999, I started to work out in the gym. My trainer at the gym was also a massage therapist who was hired by Dr. Martin. She knew of my injury and said to me, "you need to do see my chiropractor that I work for!" I went ti see Dr. Martin and they did a computerized muscle test, and took some x-rays of my spine. Dr. Martin found that my L5 vertabrae and sacrum were out of place. With the amount of improvement that I have had, it amazes me that chiropractic care receives so little respect from other medical professionals. Shortly after I started seeing Dr. Martin, I brought in my fiance. My fiance and I are in the same kind of work, and I thought some preventative care would be good for him. In 2004 our son Brenden was born. His first adjustment was at 4 days old and he has been seeing Dr. Martin ever since. Try chiropractic care for yourself and decide.
