Marshall Plumbing

I spoke with three plumbers and chose Butch at Marshall Plumbing for his knowledge over the other two highly recommended plumbers. He was the lowest bid on a a complicated job involving 13 individually owned condos. He was on time, very professional and all of the owners were very satisfied with his work on an older property. He did such a good job he was asked back the next week to install four additional toilets. He charged us a lower rate than expected and actually provided some parts and much knowledge at no extra charge. I will use him again on larger commercial projects or for smaller residential jobs. He even said I should call him and he would help me install my water heater on a self job in my condo. Thanks for the help and the tip about closing off my hot and cold lines while I remodeled my closet! Pros: Knowledgeable, prompt, professional, fairly priced Cons: He is in demand and may take a day to get back with you more

You never really know a repairman until you have a problem. Having used Marshall plumbing on several occasions, I felt that although the price was what I considered high (like most plumbers), they could be trusted to do a good job. WAS I EVER WRONG ! ! ! I had a leaky valve in my bathroom & also a leaking faucet in the kitchen. I called Butch at Marshall plumbing for a routine repair. He sent a man out to fix the problems. The man broke a fitting in the bathroom & approximately 10 minutes after he left, my wife called that water was leaking out of the light fixtures in the living room ceiling. The repairman came back out & fixed the pipe he broke. HOWEVER, THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE SHEETROCK IN THE CEILING OF MY LIVING ROOM & THE FACIA BOARD WAS LEFT OFF OF MY TUB. To this day (after complaining for 6 months) the facia (that they removed) is off of my bathtub, and the living room ceiling is stained. MARSHALL PLUMBING REFUSED TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED, SAYING THEY DID NOT MAKE ENOUGH $$$ ON THE JOB TO MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE. Additionally, they never repaired my kitchen sink. I RECOMMEND YOU NOT USE THEM IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK, BECAUSE IN MY EXPERIENCE - THAT WON'T HAPPEN ! ! ! Pros: I'll think about this one . . .
