The Scene
This Mom and Pop liquor store is easily lost in the midst of Chinatown's crowded and colorful Mott Street. Aside from a few red paper lanterns, a big porcelain cat and a fish tank, the store's one aisle has only a few unpacked boxes of wine to decorate it. Mark's has its own simple charm, but you may want to try something more sophisticated.
The Goods
Like its interior, the wine and liquor offerings are slim. There are the usual suspects, Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam and Southern Comfort, to name a few, and a limited supply of white and red wines. The small selection of Chinese wines located behind the counter and on the back wall are the only unique drinks you'll find to whet your whistle.
