Mario's Pizza Tucson

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER . . . quicker than they deliver their pizza. Pizza is marginally ok. Nothing special. You can do better at a half dozen places nearby, but please, please watch out when giving a credit card number by phone here. I used my card here (gave # over phone and then they used old fashioned machine to swipe imprint at the house) after not using it for more than a month and two days later someone was trying to use my card number in Fresno. more

Marios Pizza Tucson is a classic! This place has it all, fantastic food, really cheap prices (about $2 a slice) and great service. Did I mention the place is really clean. I don't know about you but that's important to me. I guess they have been in the same spot for like 30 years or so and it's not hard to tell why. My favorite is the pizza. I have heard they have some subs that are to die for but I just keep ordering the pizza by the slice. more

These guys know pizza! They have tons of different pizza to choose from. The slices of pizza are huge and ridiculously cheap! Two bucks and change for a giant slice of pizza that fills me up. Don't tell em but they're prices are too low. The place is super clean and the staff is nice enough. Have not tried the subs but I have heard they are just as good as the pizza Tucson style. more

Hands down the best thin crust pizza in town. Every time I go in I'm treated like part of the family. I love the family thing and support small businesses when I can. It's been a fresh breathe of air all these years and is comforting to know it's still there with the invasion of the chains. Try the steak bomb, meatball parmigiania and the ""Cowboy"" pizza. I love this place!!! more

This pizza place turned out to be like a weird dream. I went to Marios Pizza last night, always knew it was there for the 20 years I have lived here but never gone. I figured this place has to be good because it has been around forever so I finally tried it in good faith. I got this $16.00 pizza that should have been a 5 dollar pizza. I was shocked and stupefied, but too nice to go back and tell them that they can't get away with steeling my money for this paper plate pizza lol! As I was driving home I kept opening the box to check and see if maybe there would be something I might find to appreciate to appease the thought I was just ripped off 16$. That was the most Twilight Zone pizza experience I have ever had. How does this place stay in business and I have to bet people were asked or paid to leave a good comment. These guys arn't even worth giving a second chance! more

I bought a 15.00 pizza that should have been worth 5 dollars. I was so mad at my self for walking out with it without complaining. It was barely a pizza, wimpy like one reviewer said. As I was driving home, trying to think of other things to cook because this was hardly enough for one person, I kept opening the box and looking at it as if it was going to get bigger the more I did it lol! Not worth the money, very expensive for what you get. I am shocked on all these great reviews, they must have put them there themselves. more

I looked at all of the reviews before trying Mario's, and was hopeful and encouraged by the reviews for a wonderful pizza. Pros: NOTHING Cons: WORSE THAN 'ONE' STAR RATING more

This is great, thin crust pizza. Fast delivery, friendly people on the phone. The menu has a bunch of non-pizza items for picky eaters, too. Zucchini sticks, fried mushrooms, meatball subs, etc. Highly recommended!!!! more

Best pizza in town - just like my grandma used to make. We are italian, so we are picky about our pizza. This is authentic. Nice thin crust - truly italian. Pros: Thumbs up! Cons: Could be a little more ambiance...I'll trade taste over ambiance anyday. more

This pizza is great and has that family owned specialty to it. It is cheap and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I recommend Mario's pizza. I am not sure if they deliver, my friends and I ate in. more

Don't judge this place on appearance. You just have to try their pie. I'm originally from Connecticut and my husband from New York so we have high pizza standards. It took us two years of searching to find a good pie in the southwest, and after trying Mario's pizza the search was over. They know how to do it. Their pizza is hands-down the best you'll find here in the desert. And it is incredibly addictive. I recommend the 20 inch plain cheese made thin like they sell their individual slices. It'll disappear faster than you can say ""Pizza how it oughta be"" (Mario's slogan). more

Nice New York Style no frills Pizza. Quick service and great take-out. They do have some primative seating but the place must have been there for years. They have a steady amount of business that speaks for itself. more
