Maria Sol is the Mexican restaurant at the very end of the Santa Monica Pier. The food is good and it is pretty inexpensive overall. Less than ten dollars a meal.
The atmosphere is neat: there is ocean paraphernalia on the walls. And it looks as if the restaurant was converted from a fishing garage or something.
There were musicians playing guitar and singing while we ate, but of course they require a little gratuity if you allow them to play right at your table.
Nice views of the Pacific. You can eat inside or out, upstairs or down.
