Great pizza. I drive from Naperville to eat their Chicken Alfredo pizza. It must have.

I will never order from Father and Son Restaurant again! I ordered a pizza and was told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. I usually expect that from any delivery. After an h...

pizza tips 1/24/2009

Their thin crust pizza is great, the deep dish is very disappointing. It has marina sauce spread on top, which does not have any pizza sauce taste. It is incomparable to other great chicago deep dish pizzas, and if you order deep dish at marcello's, you will really be wasting your money. If you want fantastic chicago deep dish, you are much better off with lou malnati's (the best), giordano's, or gino's east. more

Stick to the Specialty Pizzas 6/22/2006

Father & Son features a list of smaller specialty pizzas that I found were more impressive than the standard ones I took tastes of. I believe mine was the Garlic Chicken, and there were some excellent flavors going on. The space was ok. Service was a bit lacking. Very family-friendly, avoid if you don't like dining with kids. Not the best, but interesting nonetheless. more

Their pizza will make your mouth water! 3/17/2006

Just thinking about this restaurant gets me all teary eyed! My family and I started going here way back when. I visited them again just a couple months ago and I still love it. They are famous for their thin crust pizza (the five cheese and tomato is my fave). I also enjoy the Italian salad (big enough for two) and their broasted chicken and potatoes. The servers are quick and efficient, and you will see lots of nice families having a good time here. more
