Terrible attitude, not worth the $85 11/15/2011

Condescending, bad customer service. They closed 90% of the gym for renovation and failed to (a) apologize for the inconvenience (b) rebate me for the days their renovation makes the gym inaccessible. This is the first time they throw service out the window when trumping the ""it's in your contract"" card. Just recognize the inconvenience, apologize and make me feel like you care that I'm not getting any use out of my $85/mo membership when you close for renovation. Terrible service, I will not extend my membership...there are too many nicer gyms out there. more

Professional but unintimidating -- what a great combination 2/26/2010

I've been a member for more than 20 years, and my rating has waffled many a time (pre surgery, post surgery, that kind of thing). They remained totally cognizant of my skills -- or temporary lack thereof -- and fixed me up with appropriate games whenever I asked. The staff is that rare combination of funny and efficient and proficient -- there are times when I'm not even playing, that I drop by for a cup of coffee and a schmooze. It's a genuinely friendly place, big enough to support five courts, small enough so it feels like someone's home Pros: a terrific team of pros, members at all levels of play more

Inefficient Booking Service 1/27/2010

The club has a membership program which provide services such as court reservations, game arranging, and such. These services are performed by an inefficient booking staff/system that is useless. If service is demanded then things can get ugly. The one thing the staff is good at is collecting your court fees. so if you'd like to throw away about $45 a week, with or without court time, for nothing more than to have people talk back at you on the phone, and constantly putting you on hold, then MPRC membership is for you. tennis programs/pros are pretty good, and you don't need membership to have lessons. Pros: friendly tennis pros Cons: the booking staff/system is a nightmare more
