This restaurant is a party restaurant and ideal for bachelorette parties only. If you are not part of a bachelorette party at Mangia e Bevi, you probably will a) wish you were part of one to save yourself the embarrassment or b) get pulled into one despite your repeated protests to be left alone. The primary focus of this place is to get people dancing on the tables. I guess the motivation behind it is you kick a drink over, they can charge you for another one?
Not surprisingly, the emphasis isn't on the food, which just as unsurprisingly isn't good. The waiters will pour on the wine and cocktails, however, ultimately limbering you up enough to jump on a table and start dancing at the encouragement of the staff. Be warned: you can only get away with this as part of bachelorette party, that being the only excuse to make a fool of yourself while dancing on a table. I know this based on personal research, trust me.
