My wife and I decided to give Mandy's Pizza in West View a shot. We called ahead and ordered, letting them know that we had an Enjoyment Book Coupon for half off our pizza. I usually don't carry cash on me, but it being 2011, and it clearly being stated on Mandy's menu that they did accept credit cards, we didn't think twice. Once we went to pay, the owner said ""please don't hate me, but I can't accept credit cards"" We then had to leave, find a bank and return. The owner also recommended a 7-11 were we would have been charged a service fee. Once we returned, the owner said he could only accept cash for our order, because otherwise he was losing money due to the ""30% increase in the cost of foods, and the service fee that he would have had to pay for swiping my credit card."" My wife pointed out that it clearly states on his menu that credit cards are accepted, which he made the argument that he said ""please dont hate me... but I would lose money giving you this order"" when we first walked in. At this point we asked for our money back, which he more then rudely refused. It got to the point were West View Police Department was called due to his actions. Appearantly he can make up the rules in his shop as he goes. West View Police told us, that wasnt the first time that they had an incident like that, with keep this in mind, the owner. Don't give him the pleasure of your business. This is a place where the customer is never right, and rudely treated. And God forbid if you have a coupon. Go across the street and visit Bella Lunna's Pizza, they will appreciate your business and will not look at you like a $ sign.
