Cold and very later delivery. Called to complain and they asked us to not eat pizza, fries and hoagie till they came back to pick it up, making sure we did not eat any then they would put in new order for us but could not give discount. 2 hours later and they want us to wait another 2 hours?!?! Customer SERVICE is just as good as the food. HORRIBLE!!! more

Horrible service 3/10/2011

My wife and I decided to give Mandy's Pizza in West View a shot. We called ahead and ordered, letting them know that we had an Enjoyment Book Coupon for half off our pizza. I usually don't carry cash on me, but it being 2011, and it clearly being stated on Mandy's menu that they did accept credit cards, we didn't think twice. Once we went to pay, the owner said ""please don't hate me, but I can't accept credit cards"" We then had to leave, find a bank and return. The owner also recommended a 7-11 were we would have been charged a service fee. Once we returned, the owner said he could only accept cash for our order, because otherwise he was losing money due to the ""30% increase in the cost of foods, and the service fee that he would have had to pay for swiping my credit card."" My wife pointed out that it clearly states on his menu that credit cards are accepted, which he made the argument that he said ""please dont hate me... but I would lose money giving you this order"" when we first walked in. At this point we asked for our money back, which he more then rudely refused. It got to the point were West View Police Department was called due to his actions. Appearantly he can make up the rules in his shop as he goes. West View Police told us, that wasnt the first time that they had an incident like that, with keep this in mind, the owner. Don't give him the pleasure of your business. This is a place where the customer is never right, and rudely treated. And God forbid if you have a coupon. Go across the street and visit Bella Lunna's Pizza, they will appreciate your business and will not look at you like a $ sign. more

don't eat here! horrible experience 7/31/2009

I would never eat at this establishment again and would not suggest it to anyone. They false advertise and do not honor gift cards that have been purchased. The food is extremely poor quality and leads much to be desired. Do yourself a favor and never eat here!! Cons: horrible management and service more

My kids are sooooo happy 1/7/2009

Well, the owner of the two stores asked me to write a review if we liked his take home and bake pizza, write a review. Pros: For us it was the convenience and great product Cons: They need to be less nice to the kids so that they don't always want to stop when we pass more

Really is the BEST PIZZA in the Burgh 1/7/2009

My name says it all....and this was the best. We love their food so much that we come down from the north ever week to eat. After they won Best of the North we went to their store in northside and was amazed at the charm of the old building. But even better we visited the West View location, and learned that this is where the owner of both stores primarily works. Pros: great food, great service and great employees Cons: he let our kid make her own pizza....i was afraid when I saw what it looked like in the end ;-) more

A fresh escape from a stale environment 3/18/2008

What a fresh escape from such a stale environment we live in today. When everything we know and love is cutting corners and sacrificing quality for quantity, its good to know that someone out there still stays a cut ""or slice"" above the rest. What delicious food and wonderful assortment of appetizers and desert items at such an affordable price. The food is good, the service is better. From the polite and knowledgeable staff to the prompt and time friendly delivery staff. This is one restaurant worth checking out. Indulge today! Your stomach will thank you and your wallet still be as full as you are. Sincerely, One hungry Mandys Pizza customer! =) <3 Pros: Affordable menu items and a HUGE selection of services Cons: Parking can be tedious on weekends more
