MY ADVICE TO ALL RELOCATORS AND APARTMENT SEEKERS..........DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!............... SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A COMPLEX THAT DESERVES IT, AND SAVE YOURSELF THE FUTURE HEADACHES. I liked the fact that the rent was reasonable and their showcase model was pretty - both are initially what attracted me to the complex, that is it!!! Do not move in here if you enjoy working appliances. This entire complex needs upgrades. It is the worst apartment community I have ever lived, the Management & Maintenance is absolutely Terrible!!! I look back and it pains me to know that I was previously forewarned of this complex through internet reviews of the facility during my initial search for apartment communities, but I just figured maybe it's just disgruntled tenants that left on bad terms - I must strictly emphasize, THEY WERE TELLING THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!! and in a heartbeat, I would have surely paid more to get better quality for my money. In my one year experience with this complex - the rates are reasonable only because they have neighboring competitors with newer facilities and upgrades that are actually ""OPERATIONAL"". Mallard Lakes maintenance is TERRIBLE- they half do repairs (I called them 3 times to fix the AC, come to find out the furnace was malfunctioning - they got it half-way operational but never even came back to finish the job - I have had to switch my breaker box lever on & off everytime I needed to regulate the air and heat of my complex. My lease is up in two months - I will not be renewing my lease. There is an extended version of this review - (you can perform yahoo search engine: Mallard Lake Apartments Greensboro, NC and read the review posted).
Pros: It's located in a nice area - shopping centers close by
Cons: Tenant Parking is a problem, Maintenance is horrible, & Management is lazy
