Mall of America 4/16/2006

We often shopped at Mall of America - just because we could find everything we needed in one location, and it was close to where we lived. The downside is the size of the mall and parking overflow during the busier times of the year (holidays and weekends) it took much longer to just get through the mall and find the stores. Overall, though, it was a great one stop shop to find everything we needed! more

Mall of America 4/16/2006

Mall of America is a shopper's paradise. With over 500 stores, you can find pretty much anything you are looking for in this mall. In addition to great shopping, there is an indoor amusement park (with plenty of rides including two roller coasters), a huge aquarium, and several other small attractions. While it isn't anything spectacular, it is a nice vacation spot for a few days. more

Never bored 4/15/2006

This is an awesome place to enjoy a day..................or a week! Practically every store known is in this place as well as a huge array of fast food and restaraunts. As if that wasn't enough, they boast an amusement park complete with roller coasters [INSIDE!!], arcade, movie theater, Aquarium and things I can't even remember to name-lol. We live only about 20 minutes away [on a good traffic day ;)] and take family time there to just walk around and relax. We have had 1 child b-day at the underwater aquarium and plan on a future one for the amusement park. Nice for dates as well. So much to see and do! more

Mall of America 12/31/2005

I live about 25 miles from the Mall of America, and my daughter and I enjoy taking my two youngest grandchildren there. Of course, their favorite place is the Camp Snoopy amusement park. It is a lot of fun watching them enjoy the rides, especially the roller coaster. This mall is so large that it is overwhelming for most people, including me, with over 500 stores to shop at. There is free parking for everyone. If you have never gone to the largest indoor shopping center in America, I think that you should go there at least once! I prefer the week days, while the children are in school making it less crowded. People do travel from all over the world to come to the Mall of America to shop. Imagine that! When you go, plan to stay for a good deal of the day and shop until you drop! Have great fun! more

More Shops Then You Can Count!! 12/19/2005

With more than 500 shops and a huge indoor amusement park, the Mall of America is the biggest shopping mall in the United States...! It is so big that 32 Boeing 747 aircraft could fit inside! It opened to the public in 1992 and employs more than 12,000 people... It is only closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day... And it is easy to fly in for a quick shopping visit to the Mall because there are airport shuttle buses that run every 30 minutes... more

Shopping Heaven 12/18/2005

The Mall of America... Well, I wouldn't quite call it Heaven. They do have a lot of stores to shop at. I wish they had more Elevators, or sticks to beat the ignorant people who push in front of you while you are waiting to get on. If you have a stroller you are damned to wait forever to get anywhere. I moved here just over a year ago and I have yet to experience this "Minnesota Nice". I suppose we could blame it on the tourists? I am a shopper though...And This mall has plenty to keep me busy. The amusement park in the middle is great too! There are a lot of places to eat. And any mall with a Marshalls inside has my vote. more

Fantastic Mall 11/23/2005

I've been to the Mall of America several times. It is enormous. Our Malls in Ohio are nothing compared to it. The Nordstrom's at the Mall of America is one of my favorites. Ann Taylor Loft is so big and has wonderful things that are not in my local store. And there is more than one Victoria's Secret. I need more than one day to cover this mall. Absolutely love it. more

Mall of America 10/19/2005

The mall has many great things to do like Camp Snoopy and lots of places to eat and if you are looking for something special you can usually find it there. Good place to take visitors form out of town. Also Under Water world is a great place to take kids. more

great place to take your family 8/21/2005

The Mall Of America is a great place to take your family occasionally or if they are visiting from out of town. For regular everyday quick shopping I would recommend doing it at a smaller less crowded mall. The Mall is great for the experience of going but the shopping is not easy since you may want to visit many stores which are all under the same roof but not conveniently located near each other. Be prepared to walk for hours upon hours, wear comfortable shoes. more

Mega Mall 8/20/2005

Mall of America is both delightful and dreadful. Finding parking anywhere nearby in the winter months, particularly during the holiday season, is a nightmare. I recommend weekdays, if at all possible, as well as later evenings during the week. The crowds do thin out. That said, the hassle of its size is sometimes worth it, given the selection of stores and restaurants. During the highest heat of summer, and the most frigid of winter days, it is an enjoyable place to walk and get some exercise despite inclement weather. more

HUGEdale 8/19/2005

As much as I would like to hate the Mall of America, I can always find something to do there. There are just so many stores, so many places to eat, so many people to watch, and so much ground to cover. My favorite part about the Mall of America is going there on a freezing cold winter day and wandering around for hours. A nice change from being holed up in the ol’ cabin. more

this is where the shopping is at 8/18/2005

Imagine every store you can think of under one roof. This mall is it! It is the best! We love that there are so many specialty shops, but also your traditional gap, old navy, Jcrew type stores. However, be warned. If you don't want to feel overwhelmed by young teenage creatures stay away on Saturdays! We think during the week is the best time to visit! more

That one big Mall 8/17/2005

Ahhh, the essence of consumerism... Mall of America has a shop for everyone. It's got hundreds of shops and resturants, and even an amusment park, aquarium, danceclub, bowling alley, movietheater, and it used to have Laser Tag... Oh well.. they got rid of Starbase Omega. Shame... It also has 4 department stores to help quench your consumer thirst, or if you don't have consumer thirst, there are plenty of Starbucks and Caribou Coffees to satisfy you. You can pretty much name a store or a type of food and it will likely be in the mall. Parking isn't too hard to find, finding your car after parking it is a different story. You could also take the lightrail or a bus to the mall, they have a depot right next to it. Happy Consuming! more

Mall of America 8/13/2005

Tons of Fun!!! Mall of America has so much things to see and do that I feel anyone will enjoy it. It is kept very clean as well. Pretty much any store you could want to go to is there. Also for fun there is Camp Snoopy and Underwater world. Don't forget to check out Legoland as well. more
