The NEW Camp Snoopy 8/7/2006

You can’t go wrong with an indoor amusement park. The Park at MOA, formerly known as Camp Snoopy, is located inside the Mall of America. I enjoyed many fun afternoons here as a child. The park features dozens of rides and attractions that are fun for the whole family. The environment is very open. There is a mini food court, as well as concession stands selling ice cream, mini donuts, and other refreshments. Although it costs money to go on the rides and attractions, admission is free! more

It is the "place for fun in your life" 1/17/2006

I feel so lucky to be in the metro area which holds the Mall of America. Yes, some Minnesotans are tired of the biggest mall in the US, but not me. I used to live a lot closer and I even worked at one of the stores there at one point. If you are in Minnesota, you need to stop by. MOA is a spectacular place. (soon-to-be-formerly named) Camp Snoopy is fun for everyone (had a blast with the toddlers this winter), there are stores for everyone and you can even use its inside to get some exercise. Yes, it can be busy on the weekends and packed during the holidays, so try to plan your visit for mid-week. If the sun is shinning you can still feel the brightness through the many skylights. more

Huge and Fun!! 12/19/2005

The mall of america is a great place to go if you cant handle huge rollercoasters, or have young children, or even if you can and dont have young children. the shopping is fantastic at the mammoth mall of america, and they will double the size of the place in the next few years as well! there is underwaterworld that many adults and kids alike will enjoy, and a large assortment of rides and restauraunts as well. being from minnesota, i have been there many times. some funny facts? the mall of america has a highschool in it, and also has a huge movie theater, and a bowling alley inside of it. it is insanely huge, and provides an awesome, memorable shopping and riding experience. have fun! more

Great Winter Activity 10/27/2005

As winter settles in, and Minnesotans find it more and more difficult to find family-friendly activities, keep in mind a day at camp snoop. Leave your winter coats in the car, and spend the day riding the rides, and playing the games at the mall of america. Kids of all ages enjoy a day at an amusement park...and what a great indoor activity for winter. more

Fun break from shopping! 10/15/2005

Camp Snoopy is located right smack in the middle of the Mall of America. They offer lots of kids rides as well as adult rides. (Caution: beware of Timberland Twister!) That ride is crazy! Besides that, there is a nice variety of rides. You can purchase a points pass (coupon in the Entertainment book) and those are good for a year. These are good if you have small kids who will only go on a couple rides each time. Otherwise they also have unlimited ride wristbands which are quite pricey. You can usually find discounts on these. They also have annual passes available for about 90.00 a person. This is a fun place to come! more

Wonderful mall! 10/15/2005

Everything you ever wanted in a mall! This place is huge! (Although don't be discouraged, once you get it down, you can navigate quickly if necessary). This is a great place to be able to take your kids shopping and bribe them to behave. When we go, we go to my stores first, with the understanding that if they are good, we will ride on a few rides at Camp Snoopy, or stop off at Legoland and play. There are other things for the kids to do such as Underwater adventures and the new dinosaur trail thing. These both cost quite a bit for a quick trip. The mall sponsors Toddler Tuesdays where they have special events geared towards toddlers such as having a specific character (like spiderman) for the kids to meet. They also offer kids eat free at some restaurants and discounted 3 hour wristbands for camp snoopy. There is tons of selection at this mall! more

Convenient but spendy 9/29/2005

Camp Snoopy is a convenient place to go for entertainment. Just think--the kids can ride, you can shop. Another option is dates--you can choose from a variety of restaurants in the Mall Of America and then play all night on the Camp Snoopy rides--at least for those who can stomach the rides and are kids at heart! I also think that it is amazing that they can have a mini-rollar coaster in doors. more

Loads of fun 9/27/2005

This is a place inside mall of america that is gam packed with rides, arcades, and food. There are rides for kids of all ages, from the littlest to the biggest. Alot of times there is also a camp snoopy band that will walk around playing instruments...lots of fun to dance to. The tickets are good for a year after purchase for the rides, so you can either play all day or come back another day and enjoy the rides. more

lots to see/lots of family fun 9/25/2005

This mall is huge, but it is full of fun for people of all ages. Their are shops galore, as well as restaurants galore. Then you have camp snoopy, which is packed with rides from the littlest to the oldest. The mall offers a movie theater as well. If you like sea creatures, then you should check out underwater adventures. You get to walk through tunnel like water ways while different kinds of fish swim over your head. At the end of the adventure their is an area where you can have a hand on adventure with shards and sting rays. This mall has tons of activities each month, one especially i like it the toddler tuesdays. On every tuesday, their are activities for families with small children. These events are normally free for the whole family. Restaurants and stores also will offer discounts on tuesday (it could be discounts in stores to kids eat free at certain locations). Also member services will allow you to rent a stroller for free on tuesdays as well. The toddler tuesday's run from 10am -12pm every tuesday. more

Convenient and fun! 9/23/2005

Now that my kids are getting a little older, I am realizing that camp snoopy is pretty expensive. I used to be able to buy an 85 point ticket, take the kids on a couple rides each time we were there, and it would last me at least 6 months . Once they can go on the bigger rides, the point value increases, and you need to get either a wristband or annual pass. Otherwise you could spend a fortune on just points. If you have a small child (2 or 3 years old), the points pass is great! (There is always a coupon in the entertainment book as well). I always used (and still do use) the rides as a tool to get the kids to behave in all of "mommy's stores" first so they could go on the rides later! Works pretty well! more

still fun 9/15/2005

So it doesn't have that appeal it had when it first opened, having rides inside our mall of america is still pretty cool. On those rainy days that you spend at the mall why not take a ride or two on the coaster or one of the many other rides they have to offer. Prices could be a little more reasonable but its well worth it in my opinion. If you haven't been to camp snoopy lately give it another try on your next visit to the mall of america! more

Snoopytastic 8/20/2005

I enjoy Camp Snoopy. It has its drawbacks—it is busy at certain times, and it is fairly expensive, given the time one spends on a ride, but it is just plain fun. It is a great place to take kids, as they will enjoy the wide range of rides geared for kids. I find it almost romantic in the evening, with the lights of the amusement park and the winding paths and people-watching. more

Fun Anytime of the Year 8/19/2005

Camp Snoopy is an inside amusement park in the center of the Mall of America. It's a fun little park and has quite a few rides and entertainment. What I love about Camp Snoopy is that you can visit an amusement park anytime of the year rain or shine (a small feat when you live in Minnesota). It's a cute park and has a few fun rides (the mighty axe and timberland twister to name a few). End your stay with a ride on the ferris wheel and look around at the Mall of America. more

Camp Snoopy 8/4/2005

I always used to love going to Camp Snoopy, but lately it's not as fun. It's not the best place for teens to hang out. But it's nice because you walk out of Camp Snoopy into the Mall of America. Can't get much better. The lines can be long sometimes, and it's pretty pricey. for younger kids though, it's great. more

Great for small kids, not really for teens or adults 8/2/2005

Camp Snoopy can be a great adventure for small kids. They have many rides and things to do. But for older people, the rides are kinda lame. Don't go expecting wild rides. The roller coaster doesn't scream. The flume ride is pretty cool (if you don't mind getting a little wet.) Overall, the convenience factor of being in the mall is the best point of Camp Snoopy. You can just catch a couple rides in between stores. more

Camp Snoopy 8/1/2005

Camp Snoopy is a great place for the whole family to have fun. They have rides, games, shops, and places to eat. It's an amusement park right inside the mall. The prices are not too bad for an amusement park, especially if you purchase a wrist band and enjoy the fun for the whole day. more

Great for the small kiddos! 7/29/2005

Camp Snoopy is an amusemant park inside the Mall of America. The lines can be really long, the prices can be very high and the rides may look more fun than they end up being. For the small kids though it is heaven! They have quite a lot of rides for the small kids and lots to do and see. On Tuesdays they even have specials just for the toddlers...from meals specials to ride specials. I highly recommend Camp Snoopy for the small kids but for older kids and adults spend your money shopping. more

Camp Snoopy Mall of America 7/23/2005

You can ride a roller coaster and play games, even grab a bite to eat. Then when your done head out to the mall to shop. Camp Snoopy has something to offer for all ages.
