I had been by the old location of Maison Robert a million times, but never stopped for whatever reason. After the, much more visible, move across the street from the Lofts at 5600/Chamblee Marta station, I stopped in and was blown away. The small family owned/ran business makes chocolates so incredibly rich and decadent that you'll slap any Godiva employee who crosses your path. They have a display case of nothing but truffles and macaroons and one filled with desserts, small enough for two to share or one to horde and full sized versions along with some of the most authentic and incredible, the burned caramel and salt is my favorite, macaroons de' paris you'll ever put in your mouth.
Pros: Incredibly genuine service, GREAT sandwiches
