I went here about a year ago and saw Stephanie (who at least at the time was a manager there). While she did a nice job on my hair, she tried to tell me the only way to lighten my hair the way I want it is to highlight it (rip off much?) rather than dye it. She was somewhat condescending. It is one thing to be ""straight up"" with people which is fine by me but it's another to actually try upselling them all the while be demeaning about it.\r
A friend of mine (who is my now new stylist :) ) went to apply for a job here a while ago when she initially moved to Charlotte. The manager (forgot to ask her the name of the manager) told the receptionist ""I can't talk to her right now, I'm in the middle of something"" in a rather rude way when she went to give the manager her resume (really, can't tell someone that directly, gotta have your receptionist do it for you when they're right there?). My friend ended up being uninterested in applying there after her interaction with the manager.\r
Not sure about the other stylists there but I wouldn't recommend Stephanie personally. If you don't really care about how your stylist talks to you but does a decent job on your hair then ignore what I said ha ha. But if you want someone who is going to be nice to you and hold a real conversation with you (not talking to everyone else but you the whole time), I wouldn't recommend her.
