I purchased my Toyota Avalon from Toyota of Palo Alto. At first I thought the sales person was very helpful. He found me the color and features that I was interested in -- and didn't try and talk me into features that happened to be on the car he already had on the lot.
Then we agreed on the price. After half an hour the sales manager came out and explained that the price was too low and they usually even charge their Costco customers more. After an hour of wrangling, I eventually wound up paying more than we had originally agreed on -- and I have felt deceived ever since.
Unfortunately - this dealership fits the model of reeling you in and then taking advantage of you!
