As a life long customer of Rich's, and of course now Macy's, the furniture collections still serve many Atlanta's households. A few years back, many of us went with our parents to Rich's Downtown, to the Store for Homes. Floor after floor, of beautifully decorated rooms, everything from Henredon to start-up basics. The Store for Homes built a beautiful new location at the Rich's Perimeter Mall, and we followed by moving to the suburbs. The change over to Macy's, has changed very little. In fact alot of familiar faces from Downtown, work in the Furniture Galleries here. Display room, after display room, giving us new ideas. Recently we were in, and discovered the new Martha Stewart Collection. Well the homemaker maven, has not slowed down. Warm woods reflect her New England style, while maintaing a feel of informal luxury. And of course without any second thought, Rich's, oh we mean Macy's, continues to be the backbone of Atlanta's basic, and somewhat upscale apparel shoppers. Richard Rich, you can rest in peace.
