M & M Cards & Comics

I remember when I was a kid i would go to this store and buy Pokemon cards. They had the best deals for different cards and also for the rare ones. The place is small, but what do you expect from a comic store? The owner is a nice man who knows a lot about comics and really likes kids. more

I used to frequent M&M Cards back in junior high when I was a member of the school bowling league which held games nearby. I remember that M&M had a great selection of brands of baseball and basketball cards, but packs of even the lower-end brands, like Fleer or Topps, could still cost you an arm and a leg; for a junior high kid, $2.50 to $3 for a pack of cards is quite steep. I went there mainly to buy individual packs of mostly Upper Deck, my favorite brand. I can recall that the shop owners are not too fond of loiterers-- such as people who go there to look up the Beckett card pricing guides without buying it-- even if they are regular patrons who happen to not be buying anything on this particular trip. Still, I have a fond memory of my experience there, and landed some gems to add to my already impressive card collection. more
