This is me and my hubby's go to place for happy hour before 7pm, beers for $2? strong margaritas for $3.50 where else in the city can you get those prices, atmosphere is fun, bar...

The only cigar bar in the neighborhood - but doesn't have cigars anymore 3/29/2006

Mustang is a nice place and it is the only place that always has people sitting outside and enjoying the sidewalk around that corner. They specialize in tequila and cigars, although they don't have cigars anymore, so it's really just tequilla. The chips and salsa are good, the food is okay, the best part is the casual and fun atmosphere. The service is annoying and usually takes a long time to bring things and to check up on you, but overall it's a pleasant experience. more

Considering the neighborhood... 9/27/2005

In any other neighborhood, I would not step foot in this place, but considering what's around, there is nothing else around. The food is decent for what you pay for it. The service is always bad, so at least you have no expectations. At least the outside is okay, but a bunch of drunk frat types will be your sidewalk neighbors. more

Good food, terrible service 8/30/2005

I come here just for appetizers and margaritas which are always fab. The downfall is the service; once you place your order, you're pretty much left to fend for yourself. I've been coming here for 3+ years and have never had good service (but the food is always good). There's a hidden patio in the back which is nice if you prefer a more quiet dining experience. more

A decent place for a first date or a get together 7/29/2005

Mustang Grill has a few really great things on their menu. They used to have an awesome 2 for 1 lunch special but that was done away with sometime in 2000. It has outdoor seating as well as some really interesting conversation pieces inside. The food is decent. The drinks are awesome. I totally recommend the burger and/or the cobb salad! more

Good for Margaritas 6/19/2005

Mustang has a nice location on the ues on 2nd avenue. There is a lot of outdoor seating and it's a popular place to eat in the summer. The margaritas are pretty strong and half price at the bar during happy hour. The food is actually very good, but a little expensive for what you get more
