Amazing food, excellent service, family friendly, yet relaxed ambiance, reasonable prices. Why can't Bainbridge Island have a restaurant that serves up this winning combination? We will cross the bridge again for this place! Pros: Food, wine, family friendly, service more

GREAT PLACE, it should be on the ""Best Of List"" 11/7/2008

I cant tell you how much we loved the people, food etc, etc, etc. The owner and his wife were just great. He even comes out of the kitchen to check on how everything was. We plan on this being one of the places you want to take the ferry for, its well worth your time !!!\r \r I just cant believe the only comment ( the Only One may I say too ) that had a problem with Mor-Mor's. I can only guess they were problem guests. Please toss this persons comments out and see that every other one is the same as mine.\r \r GREAT PLACE, GREAT FOOD !!!\r \r Pros: Small but oh so sweet Cons: Only thing would be the ferry ride but well worth the time more

Avoid 7/1/2008

Very dissapointed. This was a rehearsal dinner that had been planned for months with great expectations due to the many reviews. The Bride & Groom visited & had dinner & this was the restaraunt of their choice. Service was extremely slow, the couple were never acknowledged, 1 dinner was overlooked & when it did finally arrive there was hair in it ugh! Over all the food was good but if you are planning a special event I would look elsewhere. I sent an e-mail with my complaints but instead of an apology I was chastised for my comments. Cons: Ambience more

Mor Mor Bistro - Just Great! 4/8/2007

We have been going to this little restaurant in Poulsbo for a while now and it just get's better every time. We recently joined a group of friends there having a Birthday celebration. There were nearly 20 of us and the place still did not skip a beat. We love the Osso Bucco and Butter Bibb salad - and ordering wine is a lot of fun too. You can order various samplings of wine ""They call it Wine Flights, I don't know what a Flight exactly means, but it is sure a fun way to try new wines""! As other reviews have stated, it can be a tad bit loud when the room fills up but it is just the best place around. If you have not been, give it a try for sure! Pros: Great: ambience / food / service more

Very good bistro fare in little Norway! 8/26/2006

Mor Mor Bistro is a wonderful little spot in historic Poulsbo, Washington. As a new resident to this little city, I was relived to find a restaurant of this caliber in the midst. The atmosphere is very clean and contemporary and showcases some neat historical photos of the town. Mor Mor also has a nice bar and a rather stunning bartender, who really knows her craft. I am completely hooked on their wild berry martinis. On weekends it can be a bit noisy when the room fills up, but most of the time it is not an issue. The food is very good and seems to be consistant in that fashion. The menu hails the use of local area products and offers a very wide variety of selections ranging in price from $12.00 to $25.00. On our last visit, our server informed us that they print the menu everyday making changes based on what is fresh and in season. They have a lobster stuffed ravioli that seems to be a signature item and is usally always on the menu, I would highly suggest giving that a try, but really all the dishes seem to be well put together. All in all, a very nice place that is worth trying. Pros: High quality service, atmosphere & food. Cons: A touch noisy on weekends. more

Mor Mor Bistro, Class Act. 7/11/2006

I am a loyal customer of this fantastic Poulsbo bistro. I am not writing to share with other viewers of how great this place is - ""Because it is awsome"" but all the other reviews will tell you that. I am writing to basically say that I want the young owners to know that they have really put together a class act. The owners of this great little eatery have apparently been out of town in California at a hospital while their new born son who was born very premature and ill is recieving some special care there. I think it is really worth mentioning to them, that their staff is doing such a great job in their absence. I have been in several times and had never actually heard the story of how young the owners are, but I think that this whole restaurant has a certain level of quality that we in Kitsap county are not used to recieving. Kudos to the whole operation and I look forward to many more wonderful meals at this great spot. I am however a biased reviewer because I have attended many of the neat wine tastings that they have put on, and I know some of the staff personally, but it stills needs to be stated on this website that the mor mor bistro is a very special place. more

Simply great! A wonderful dining experience. 5/16/2006

After cruising through some of Poulsbo's old town shops, my wife and I were told by nearly every shop in town that Mor Mors Bistro was the best restaurant in town. We went for an early dinner and had such a nice time I just wanted to go online to make sure I was not the first to write something nice about this cute little spot. The other reviews sum it up pretty well. Friendly service, delicious food, creative menu, very cute interior, price range of $8.00 - $22.00 with several tasty sounding dishes. Can't wait to go back - if you have not been try it, much better than ANY thing in Kitsap county for sure! P.S. Only one cup of coffee, Very good, but very strong - I was up all night! Maybe decaf next time! Pros: well informed staff, large menu, fair price range more

Wow! Wonderful Food! 4/10/2006

My wife and I visited Poulsbo a couple of days ago, and not knowing where to eat lunch we asked a couple of local store owners where they would eat for a fine lunch or dinner. Without hesitation both said Mor Mors, on the main street. Well, what can we say, except that we will be regular customers if the food and service stay true to our lunch experience. We even signed up for their April wine and dinner function...looking forward to that. Pros: food, service, value more

I truly love this place! 3/18/2006

OK - Here is the skinny on Mor Mor. It is as good of a restaurant as you will find any place for casual but creative food. I first found Mor Mor when some freinds brought us to one of the special wine dinners they host once a month. The place was packed with enthusiastic staff and people all riveted by course after course of delicious food and wine. I go to Mor Mor at least once a month and my friends who live in Poulsbo eat there more than they do at thier own home. Not too fancy but always good! A+ Pros: Fresh Ingredients, Different Menu Often, Great Staff Cons: Can be a tad noisy. more

GREAT FIND, FUN, DELICIOUS... 11/30/2005

My wife and I ate at Mor Mor yesterday for dinner. I have been there many times now as it is our best option for quality food in the area. I wanted to post a review here to let others know what a great place it is, and also to tell the owners how much we appreciate the bistro, as I am sure the staff reads theese upon occasion. It's always fun, low key, fair priced, delicious high quality food, great service & a real treat to have in Poulsbo. Keep up the good work! Pros: Fun Enviornment, Amazing Soups, Friendly Service more

MorMor Is A Wonderful Place! 10/9/2005

My wife and I have recently moved to Bainbridge Island from Kirkland. We were told of MorMor by some locals saying that it may be our best choice in the area for a great dining experience. I have to say they were right. We have been to Mor Mor over a dozen times now with all positive experiences. I hope this little gem is here for a long long time. The young owners have done a great job putting together a menu that offers so many wonderful quality & creative dishes, plus the menu items change everytime so there is always something new! We love the live guitar player - it's a perfect place for a martini and some appetizers. Kudo's Mor Mor keep up the good work! more

Absolutely Fantastic!!!! 9/5/2005

Far and away the best restaurant around - period. Having this Bistro in Poulsbo is just fantastic. The chef's menu's are creative and consistant and always delicious. The wine list is affordable and second to none in the area. This place is just wonderful! Everyone should have a chance to dine at MorMor Pros: Casual / Elegant more

Mor Mor Means More!!!! 5/10/2005

This is the best restaurant around. My friends and I go to Poulsbo by way of boat quite often this time of year, and we are so glad to have Mor Mor. The food just plain knocks your socks off, the bar is awsome, the staff is spot on and it is very reasonably priced. Poulsbo now has one more reason to visit! more

Insanely Good Food, Without the Attitude 4/10/2005

This place is better than anything you'll find on the other side of the Sound. The food never ceases to amaze, the atmosphere is nice without being stuffy (you won't feel like you have to whisper or that the other diners are staring at you), and the service is excellent. Laura, one of the owners, has put together a fantastic wine list. Best of all, the menu and wine list are constantly changing, so you never get bored. For vegetarians, I highly recommend the Ravioli with Red Pepper Sauce, and their Soups of the Day are often vegetarian and never disappoint. The wine flights are a great way to try out new wines without committing to an entire bottle. Even the bathrooms are nice here. Pros: Vegetarians Welcome, Menu Rotates, Friendly more

Best Of The West - 3/27/2005

As far as the west sound goes, this restaurant is top dog. We live half the year on Bainbridge Island and found this little bistro a few months ago. The service and atmosphere are great. The wine list is very broad and fair priced, the martinis are crisp and the food is better than almost any restaurant around including Seattle. Also Poulsbo has some of the best galleries to parouse and mormor makes for a great after shopping dinner. Pros: friendly, clean, large menu options more

MORMOR BISTRO IS AWSOME! 2/10/2005

I really like eating here and meeting freinds fro drinks after work at the bar. It's totally the best restaurant this side of Seattle. Try the dunganess crab cakes with saffron and blood orange. And they have the best garlic & parmesan cheese fries in the world. There is plenty of great booze, as me and my freinds have come to find out!!! Pros: Awsome more

We are lucky! 1/25/2005

Mormor is such a great spot. I live on Bainbridge island and work in Poulsbo. Mormor has the best lunch around. They have a BLT on the towns famous poulsbo bread, and then top it with alaskan salmon and all the right fixins! The staff is great and always takes care of me and my friends. Pros: Great food, Nice staff more

What A Trip!! 1/22/2005

Some friends of ours that live in Poulsbo asked us to come over there so they could take us out to a new restaurant they liked in town. We were shocked to find a little bistro packed with people! I guess we should have called first! Anyhow we sat at the bar and were quickly served thier specialty blood orange martini, and oh was that easy to drink! We ended up eating at the bar and I have to say I dont think I have had that much fun at a restaurant in quite a while. Little MOR MOR in little Norway, cant wait to go back! Pros: Lots of charm, good food, great bartender more
