I think the girls working here to get their licenses are wonderful, and the few guys, too. They listen and do their very best to give you what you want. And since they are still students, it's an affordable spa if you'd like. They do facials, manicures, pedicures and anything for the hair. I've been to salons in town, and honestly M.J.'s girl - and even 1 guy - have yet to let me down. And as an added bonus you are doing something to help another person as these students need to get practice time in before graduating. more

That's awesome 8/19/2006

I use the local beauty school, M.J. Murphy's academy to get an affordable hair cut. I've even gone there with a girlfriend for a day spa kind of thing. For about $20 we got our hair styled, manicures and facials. Those girls - and a few guys - are awesome and really do work to do a good job, sometimes better than someone who's been in the field too long. more

A great place to go and get your hair cut, or an up done. The prices are great and the girls who work on you are super nice. You don't have to call for an appointment to get your hair done. And the supervisors there are nice. The place is convient to get to, and is clean. Keep up the good work girls! more
