The bathroom STINKS!! Imagine what the kitchen looks/smells like!! The staff is rude and I will not reccomend this place to anyone! Save you time and go somewhere else!!!! Cons: Poor service, gross food!! more

Me and my mother and some of her friends went to Luther's tonight. We ordered our meal. When my nachos arrived they were cold. When I first arrived, I ordered sweet tea. I don't know what happened but by the time the waiter brought me refills my tea was unsweetened. It was terrible. You would think things could not get much worse but it did. When the waitress brought the bill, she put all the orders on one bill. I don't know what she was thinking it was obvious we had individual orders. She had to separate the orders. Here is where the nightmare begin. She got the orders all mixed up. We all had our own credit card she put the wrong charges on the credit cards. She over charged everyone. Well to correct the over charges the waitress had to collect everyones credit card remove all the charges from everyones credit card and re - submit the orders. But when she brought the the charge slips she did not bring the credit for the over charges because she did not do the credits. She charged everyones cards again. It was a big mess. By this time, I asked to see the manager. I had to ask to see the manager three times. When he finally arrived, I quickly realized he was the problem. Now keep in mind by the time the manager showed up we had been waiting 1.5 hours for the problems to be corrected. It was unbelievable. I told him it had been entirely too long and since they had not fixed the problem in 1.5 hours he should refund our money in full. He would not hear of it. So we continued to wait. It was during this time that another so called manager begin bringing everyone at the table shots. It was another 45 minutes when another so called waiter showed up with everyones charges applied to everyones account again. By the time we left Luther's it was 1am. He told everyone we would not know for 24 to 48 hours if the charges and the credits are applied correctly. It is my observation that Luther's does this intentionally. They count on people coming there and getting drunk as they over charge their credit cards. I am certain they do this all the time. It is the horrible management. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LUTHER'S AGAIN. And I will certainly tell my friends about my experience. Pros: Non Cons: Bad Management, cold food, over charges your credit card more

I ordered the Salmon Salad and was quite impressed with its presentation. Full fillet of Salmon on a bed of mixed greens (NO ICEBURG! woo hoo!) the fish was med rare just like I ordered and the lime dressing was perfect. One of the waitresses sat us. She copped a bad attitude after we apparently took to long to decide where to sit. We should have left at that point. We literally waited 15 minutes for someone to wait on us. The table next to us had less patience than we and went up to the bar to get their drinks. The waiter that eventually came to their table actually ended up passing by our table three times with nary a word to us. We finally left at that point. That was the fourth and last time we went to Luther's. The other times we had slow service as well. Pros: The service negates any pros worth mentioning. I ate here about six months ago. The service was mediocre at best and the only reason I ate the food was because I was so hungry at the moment, I would have eaten the crotch out a Ragedy Ann (Andy?) doll. Well, here it is, six months later and it is deja vu. This time, the service wasn't /bad/ per say, just not good. Our server was a young and pretty boy, and I guess that is what most patrons visit this restaurant for. It certainly isn't the food. I ended up with a plate of greasy nachos that was so cold, the grease at congealed at the bottom and edges of the plate. None of the other three members of the party seemed to have any issues with their food, but then, they were either stoned, drunk or a combination of the two. So, I guess that sums it up. The first time I visited it was nice food was tasty! I thought okay lets go again this time with some friends so they can try out the food. I was SOOO EMBARESSED! The waiter brought out the food it was not ours set it down in front of us we explained to him this is not our order takes it back then bring backs the same food just added the missing ingredients to make it the right order. The food was just slapped together. It was just NASTY! We order a pitcher of beer. He brings it out and it has a white slug of film on top. We tell our waiter what's that he says oh the pitcher was frozen it's from that. We pour our beer and it tast NASTY. We realize they had used a dirty pitcher for pina colada and just pour the beer in it. I had to then take the dirty pitcher with the beer they served us to the bartender. Who sayed oh sorry and gave us a new pitcher of beer. I payed for the nasty food the dirty beer and vowed never to go back! SERVICE WAS HORRIABLE! Will not go back!!!! Just nasty. Decent food, but not worth the rude attitudes of the wait staff. There are times you wait more than 10 minutes just to give your waiter your order. (This was on a night when their were at the least 5 wait staff, and only 10 customers in the restaurant.) Unacceptable! I suggest eating elsewhere. The food doesn?t make the bad attitudes better? I went to Luther's recently on a sunday afternoon with my boyfriend looking for a burger and a beer. After waiting 15 minutes for the beer to come, (it was not crowded) I got up and walked to the bar. I stood there for about five minutes and watched the bartender walk around in circles, avoiding eye contact with me, and then run to the back. Around this time, my waitress appears and tells me, in a condescending tone, to, ""sit down sweetie, he's gonna be a while."" I sat down, waited about five more minutes and then left thirsty. Bummer. I have eaten here before after a few drinks on the Main strip and the burgers where great. I tried going by one Sunday late afternoon and was highly dissappointed! I waited 5 minutes at their ""greeting stand"" (a patio table with menus on top) and was mistakenly thought to have come in with another hungry customer standing in front of me. He was seated while I waited and watched two employees rushing pass me. I was then attended to five minutes later and was told to go to the bar to make a ""to go"" order. When I approached the bar it had about ten patrons. The bartender did not notice me at all and worked quickly to get two draft beers and a pitcher of beer and then rushed to the back. Five more minutes later I walked up to a terminal close by where two waitresses stood. I asked if anyone else could take by order because the bartender was busy. They both looked back at the bar as if I was lying. Then they both passed off the request between eachother and then one hesitantly agreed to take my order. I felt very unwelcomed and felt like an annoyance. I told them ""Nevermind"" and I walked right out. What a shame! All I wanted was a Route 66 combo! Mediocre food and service. The menu seems promising, but nothing at this location is done well. Our visit was further ruined by the half-hearted cleaning efforts of the staff, who sprayed Pledge everywhere liberally. Yuck. The success of the restaurant so far is probably because of the built-in clientele from the Main St. area--perhaps it's a better experience after a long night of drinking. My boyfriend and I really like the food here when it comes out correctly. The wait staff is lazy and unattentive and it always takes forever to get our food out (although not generally the waitstaff's fault). The food is reasonably priced but the drinks are not. Luther's is much better now under the new management. The prices are very reasonable especially the bar. I love the two flat screens. Yes, the skin-on fries are soggy but the tater tots are always crispy and golden. The staff is a little flirty, but you just have to flirt right back. The mountain of nachos is alright; they could be a little more generous with the cheese. The sauce that accompanies the egg rolls is very unique, like a sweet and sour sauce. I hear the cuban sandwich is good, but have not tried it yet. The neighborhood people really seem to like it; I think its a great place to stop for a snack and a cold one on the way to or from downtown. I choose to visit this place after spending happy hour across the street. The restaurant was about half full with customers but fully staffed with waiters. I was one of the few over 45 crowd in the place and the waiters seemed to be more interested in the under 30 something customers. My waiter was friendly but not overly helpful in aiding me with my selections. I had a Grilled Turkey Panini that was very tasty and well worth the price, however, I never got a refill on my tea and had to hunt him down to get my bill.
