The owner cut my hair twice and the second time he was very rude. He got nasty when I told him what I wanted and made derogatory remarks about the condition of my hair. I was nice and apologized for not being able to express better what I wanted but I realize that he should have been apologizing to me. He belittled the fact that I told him about a simple technique that a hairstylist had used to cut my hair once in a way that I liked. I think he got ticked off because he didn't know how to achieve what I wanted - he just wanted to be disagreeable - not something a client wants when they are looking for a supposed expert in the field. Cutting hair isn't rocket science - there are only so many ways to do it. He was very unprofessional and had a nasty attitude. I did not deserve the way he talked to me. He made a client feel badly for no other reason than the fact that he is a miserable human being who should be ashamed of himself. He and the salon are very overpriced and frankly, the haircuts were not that good. I have had much better. I only tried him because I had read about the salon in a magazine some years back. There is no excuse for his behavior - someone should let him in on the fact that no matter how hip he thinks he is, behaving like a slob cancels it out. If I or others I know did their jobs the he did his, we would all be out of business! I would never go back to this salon because of the way I was treated, not to mention the price and the quality of the haircuts.
