Awesome Food 6/19/2007

I was truly surprised at how good the food was. The skewers, goat cheese croquettas, and steak were excellent. The tapas were fairly priced. We ordered tons of food and drinks and the bill was less than I expected. The place has a great atmosphere. Pretty chill. Staff is pretty cool. They have outside seating which is nice. It started to get pretty busy around 9:30/10. I'm definitely going to become a regular. Pros: Great food and drinks at a reasonable price. I also spoke with the Manager about throwing a party and he gave me a good deal! Cons: More people should know about this great little spot. more

Great Service and Open Late! 3/27/2007

A small place with candles lighting the tables, the atmosphere was classy and relaxed at the same time. We stumbled upon this place on a Tuesday night because the place we were supposed to go to was closed (The Gramercy). We went out to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a very fun time! The menu was cute and offered a variety of entres and drinks, though not excessive. Our waitress was really nice and they played some good music during dinner. Avoid the Key Lime Pie martini... it has a peculiar smell. I also ordered the pork cutlets and sangria and they were both very good. Even on a Tuesday night, it was pretty busy (but not too crowded). They have all sorts of specials during the week too... Mondays are Karaoke and Tuesdays are 1/2 off (of everything!). It was definitely an awesome deal and a fun time and I'd go there again! Pros: Service, food, value Cons: Smoking more

  • The Scene
Lucille's is welcoming and classy, with dark wood accents, mirrors and a long, old-fashioned bar. The bar/restaurant swells on weekend nights as a discerning crowd, sipping martinis to the sounds of Miles Davis, fills its barstools, tables and elevated booths.

    The Food
The kitchen turns out an adventurous array of tapas that are big enough for Chicago-size appetites to share. Standouts include peanut-crusted catfish served in a wasabi sauce, sweet and spicy Asian ribs, and roasted goat cheese with crunchy dipping toasts. You're bound to find something you and your date will love. The tiramisu and white frosted cake are straightforward and perfect. From the bar, there's a wide selection of wines, flavored martinis and beers on tap.
