I joined the gym and was told the Gold Card membership included Childcare; come to find out 5 days after signing my contract that it DOESN'T include childcare, it allows you access to the Childcare room. There is an addition fee for the Childcare ($1-2/hr, per child). That doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up...it would have cost me an extra $60/month, on top of my monthly membership.
When I tried to cancel my membership, I was told I'd have to pay the cancelation fee of $99, because I was past the 3 day window. I tried to explain that I signed the contract expecting to receive a Membership that included Childcare and that is NOT what I got.
I feel as though the membership was falsely represented and this it a definite case of False Advertisement...All of the signs referring to the Gold Card Membership state, 'Childcare *when available'. Childcare was offered at this location, but no where did it state that there was an additional fee for the actual Care aspect.
The CS Rep and 'Manager' were very dismissive to my concerns and rude. HORRIBLE Customer Service on all ends, at the GYM and on the PHONE.
