My husband went to this store about a month ago and bought two sweaters. When he got home, he realized that the fit a little tighter than he liked and went back a few days later to return or exchange them. He was allowed to exchange one sweater but a nasty saleswoman at the front told him he couldn’t return the other because she claimed it had a “stain”, even though the tags were still on and he hadn’t worn it. She insisted that he should have noticed the “stain” before he bought it. When he brought it home, I examined the sweater and found that the “stain” was a small smudge that I wiped away easily. I then went to return the sweater myself, this time I was told that I couldn’t get a credit but could only exchange it and I only had two more weeks to do so. This was about a week and a half ago. I could not find anything in the store that I would wear, so I returned home figuring that my husband could return and now that the “stain” was gone, he could exchange it. He went today and lo and behold was told that the time had run out to exchange the sweater. Now he was told that he only had 15 days from the original date of purchase to return it. What a load of bull. I have lived in NYC my whole life and this is possibly the worst store with the most blatant dishonest practices that I have ever visited.
