Louisville Bats Baseball Club

Louisville Slugger Field is one of the best places I’ve ever been to see professional baseball -- even better than many major league parks. The smaller size makes it just right for being able to see the game up-close and you’ll be hard pressed to find a more attractive and clean venue. Slugger Field is housed behind the facade of an old, refurbished warehouse on Main Street. This area of downtown is undergoing a major revitalization and it’s great to see people enjoying downtown. The concessions are excellent -- with a wide variety of food and beverages. And the Louisville Bats are usually a very entertaining team to watch. There’s a mascot for the kids, and even a carousel in the picnic area. Tickets are pretty inexpensive, so this is a great way to spend time with the whole family! more

The Louisville Bats are a AAA affiliate of the Cincinnati reds. They play their home games at Slugger Field on the waterfront. It is a great way to spend a day. Besides great baseball and between inning entertainment, there is plenty to satisfy the kids. There is a playground inside the field and a carousel. You can still see the game from this area. Above the outfield is a small field for families to sit on blankets. There are 2 full service restaurants besides the usual ball park food and drinks. more
