I had read about Robert, who specializes in long hair, in Allure magazine. Was apprehensive about Robert's dry cuts at first, but was amazed by the results. He spent about 40 minutes just cutting and paying close attention to every detail. He's not the type to try and talk you into anything and does what you ask him. Cuts are alittle pricey, around $80, but it's worth it. Also, I once went 7 months without a cut and everyone at work still stopped me to say how straight and even my hair was! His salon is really just a one-seat ""office"", so it doesn't have the ""pizzazz"" of other salons, so that may be a drawback, but if you're intersted in a great cut, then that doesn't really matter. And some of Robert's stories about his old Studio 54 days are a hoot!
Pros: professional, courteous
