The benefit to this is that the doctors in training are just completing their coursework and often are on top of the latest techniques. The downfall is that while some of the doctors in training are excellent, some are barely mediocre. I have been treated by both. The biggest challege with getting your care at a college is that the person treating you changes every few months as the students graduate and are replaced by new ones. Price is the biggest benefit since rates are reduced because the students are learning. Another problem is that the office is only open in the afternoons on weekdays because the students are in class in the morning. If you are able to be somewhat tolerant and work around their scheduling you will find this is a very good way to receive your treatment.
