When traveling to the north country the Gristmill in Littleton, NH is a must see and enjoy location. It is off of Main Street but well worth the time required to find it. In addition to unusual gift ideas, there are plenty of local, high quality crafts available. This is not a "craft fair" outlet; these products are made by artisans. This is an operational gristmill with demonstrations running occasionally. The finished product is available for purchase on the site. If you have not tried buckwheat pancakes, give them a try. When you leave, you will determine to make this a regular stop on your visits to the north country as I have.
