I went with my husband and mother for lunch on a Monday. We arrived right at 11:45 a.m. but still waited a while for a table. Not a big deal, as I knew the lunch crowd can be heavy. My husband ordered the burger. They didn't ask for a temperature and the patty came out well done. My mother ordered the soup of the day (roasted poblano and corn) that came with a grilled portabella on the side. My mother enjoyed the combination, but felt the portabella was a bit lacking in flavor. I didn't detect much of a roasted flavor in the soup or taste much poblano (aside from the diced poblanos on top), but it still tasted good. I had the tilapia tacos. They were a bit bland for my taste, but the lighter fare (tilapia, cabbage, rice) suited me well that day. My only major complaint was that because they were so busy, we were very rushed throughout our visit. The waitress left the check on the table before we had even finished eating and took the signed receipt before we left the table. Believe me, we don't ""camp out"" at tables, but sitting and visiting with my mother for 5 minutes felt like we were offending the staff. When I contacted the owner of the business about my concerns regarding service, he basically told me I was lying. I won't be going back.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, good location
Cons: small, crowded, mediocre food, rude
