I searched online for a pizza place in Kendall. I wanted to surprise a friend of mine with her favorite kind of pizza: cheese with sundried tomatoes on top, but they had to be arranged in the form of a happy face (it makes her happy, what can i say). After calling TWELVE different places in the area, they would either not offer sundried tomatoes, or wont deliver, and one said they won't please me with the happy face topping because it takes too much time (REALLY? 30 extra seconds of work and you would have gained immediate business, a repeating customer and a good online review). When I called Lillo's and confirmed that they deliver and DO offer sundried tomatoes, I asked the person if they could please do the happy face on top, the guy's response "yeah, sure! whatever you need" and then he even offered to write a personal note for my friend. THAT is customer service. Small businesses need to understand that their edge against big names like Papa Johns, Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc, will never be low prices (without compromising food quality) so what really will set them apart is a friendly staff that is ready to make a good impression on their customers. Thank you, Luis, for helping me out with the order! My friend was happy and will remember Lillo's Pizza more

Went over there based on some reviews of the place. The staff was nice enough, but the salad we got with the meal had virtually no taste to it, so I asked for some balsamic vinegar to help give it some taste. Then came the entree, which was chicken parmigiana. It was a very thin piece of tough chicken about 6 or 7 inches wide, over a bed of fettucine noodles, with an average marinara throughout. I was not impressed with the food. In Kendall, I'll stick with amici's. more

I visited after a write up in the Miami Herald, and always looking for a good pizza, well, still searching. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and blk olives, and when i got home, I saw I did not get my pepperoni, was charged for it tho...I also ordered the doughnut sticks, and was not asked what topping I would like and again realized this once I got home that I had my choice, they never mentioned it, and I was over charged, according to their prices by $1, I picked up so there was no additional charge I could think of they would add on...he pizza was ok, needed some spice/seasoning IMO more

Finally! A low in cost, great tasting, family friendly pizzeria/italian restaurant worth visiting in the kendall area. Their menu is loaded with delicious options that don't just sound good, they actually taste good! My kids and I LOVE the pizza. If your picky with your pizza, this is the spot to go to. \r I have been to Lillo's for both lunch and dinner. During lunch times I have taken advantage of their FREE Wi-Fi !!!, and during dinner my husband and I have stopped by to eat and watch the basketball games. \r I also appreciate the service. Lillo and his crew have been attentive with their customers each time I've visited. Unlike other spots in the area, the employees actually make the experience more pleasant. This restaurant speaks not only with its great food, but with the charisma and fresh attitude that the employees treat the customers with. Thanks Lillo!!!\r \r Hope this review helps :) more

We were run off from Top Pizza on Kendall, so we've been searching for another Pizza/Pasta restaurant where we're served good food at a fair price.\r \r We've found such a place a Lillo's Pizza.\r \r It is a very informal restaurant. They seem to do most of their business as carryout, but they still have a decent restaurant for those who wish to dine inside the restaurant (as we did on our first visit).\r \r The employees are friendly, but not overbearing. They smile and greet their customers warmly. We left feeling that the employees there truly appreciated our business. Their warmth did make us want to return (and we shall).\r \r I notice one of my favorite Italian dishes on the menu, Chicken Marsala. I was NOT disappointed. My wife ordered linguine with clam sauce. Each meal was priced at $9.99 that included a very nice salad and garlic rolls.\r \r The salad comes served with their own house Italian dressing. I prefer the Italian dressing slightly sweeter, but their house dressing was fine. The salad was a larger side salad than serves at most restaurants, so no complaints there.\r \r The garlic rolls were very good. They were small round rolls generously topped with garlic and oil. Their rolls were delicious and a nice addition to the meal.\r \r The chicken marsala came with generous amounts of chicken. The THREE pieces grilled chicken (each about the size of your hand) were moist and tasty. The food came out steaming with a generous amount of sauce, pasta, and mushrooms. I can say nothing critical about this meal.\r \r Likewise, the linguini w/clam sauce was a very ample serving. There was no skimping on the clam sauce, the generous amounts of clams, or the additional seasoning added. The linguini w/clam sauce was top notch in every respect.\r \r We each had enough of our meals left over for a second meal. Each plate was about 12 inches in diameter piled high with the entres.\r \r We're pleased that we were able to find a very good Pizza/pasta restaurant our first time out.\r \r We haven't tried their pizza yet, but we have hopes that it also measures up to th excellent quality of their pasta servings.\r \r This is definitely a Pizza/pasta restaurant worth a try. more
