DELICIOUS 7/17/2009

This is the best pizza in Orlando. I have lived here for most of my life and dined out quite a bit. This is BY FAR the best pizza joint in Orlando. Pros: pizza is to die for Cons: nothing more

New owners, quality is deteriorating 11/20/2008

I use to love this restaurant and gave up commercial Pizza delivery because it was so good. After 4 opportunities under the new ownership, that is somehow permitted to keep the name, I have been nothing but disappointed. It is okay but not awesome as it use to be. The service is okay, it is defintely the quality of the pizza (not as authentic NY style pizza) and even the wings are now just greasy. Pros: menu offers Italian variety Cons: food taste is average and therefore you don't feel like returning. more

Authentic Pizza, Best in Orlando 7/5/2008

My family & I have been going to this place for years & I have never tasted a better pizza then theres. We always order there XL Calzone which the pure size of it can feed an army,lol... But the garlic knots are to die for. We love there staff, they are so friendly & enjoy eating there. Other than the fact that they need a bigger space, they need not change a thing. Pros: Food, Staff, Price, Service, Clean Cons: Space to sit. more

horrible customer service.... and so much more..... for lil anthony's in winter springs 6/26/2008

Well first off. I've read a lot of comments on here & I see a lot of NY/NJ people go here to eat pizza because it's as close as you're going to get down here. & I have to agree on that part, as a native NYer being down here 4 years I've found this place to be good with their pizza, but honestly thats where it stops especially the last few orders. Tonight I ordered dinner and they told me a 1/2 hour for pick up so i got there 5 minutes early and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food (when i got there they didn't seem to even realize they needed my order) Then when i got home the chicken from both dinners were tough (hard as rocks) and dry- I had a hard time cutting the chicken and even chewing it. Then I call them to ask if they have a new cook that they should watch how long they're cooking the food. well the customer service was horrible the girl who answered the phone did say sorry (with a hint of attitude) & then asked ""well what do you want me to do about it"" I then replied ""I don't want you to do anything"" I was just so annoyed. So then my fiance called back because he's more level headed then I, & spoke to a manager that pretty much gave him a hard time. They did give us a 25% discount on our next order but i doubt we'll order again. We have noticed the decline in the quality of their food (i know the economy is bad for everyone right now - but if we're paying more $ then quality should still stay the same) the caprese salad used to be GREAT, as expensive as it was i would order it almost every time. In the past 8 months the quality has gone from 100% to about 45% I will not order that salad anymore. NOR after this evening i probably will not be ordering from them ever again. I've found another pizza place near my job that is even more ""NY Style"" so on my way home i'll stop there instead. So basically my last words are going to be go to lil anthonys only if it's your last choice of food. quality & customer service is not what it should be! Pros: pizza is decent for being in FL. Cons: rude girl answering phone with an attitude, qualtiy of food gone down since we started ordering from them 8 months ago, epensive $25 for 2 chicken dinners that weren't a good sized portion more

3 Strikes.... (0 STARS!) 6/22/2008

As a recent transplant from NYC- I was excited to find a ""New York Syle"" Pizza Restaurant near downtown Orlando. Tried the Pizza and must say.... Its alright- no big complaints about the Pizza itself. Pros: Pizza is fine Cons: Restaurant is dirty/ Phone in orders never ready more

The biggestg in town 2/24/2008

We stopped by to get a salad and a calzone. They brought out the biggest salad and a monster calzone. I was very impressed. And it was very tasty. I will be going back. Pros: great price great food Cons: small place more

If you came from NY/NJ area ... 6/15/2006

... this is the place for back home style pizza ... I've been living in FL for years and missed the back home pizza ... BUT now that we have found Lil' Anthony's, we have it here in FL ... Pros: have the tastes that chains can't even come close more

GREAT PIZZA FOR FLORIDA 11/9/2005

Great pizza for Florida area. We're from NJ, and the pizza here is the best in the country. Antonio's comes close to it. We ordered take out and it was on time. Note that restaurant is small and also has an outdoor seating area. It is in a shopping center in downtown Orlando---somewhat of a distance from Disney World. If near, we recommend it. Pros: PIZZA, Service Cons: Small, not near WDW more

Great! 6/24/2004

Food was Delicious!! I come up to Orlando every so often and when I do you can be sure when I go out to eat I only go here. Can't wait to go back! Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Wonderful Atmosphere more

The BEST! 6/5/2004

My husband and I dined @ the Winter Springs location recently and we will be back! Garlic Knots are unbelievable! The pie is great! I can't wait to eat here during the holiday season...when it will be a little colder and I will really feel like I am back in NY. My husband and I were big Papa Joe's fans but I am sold on Lil Anthony's and can't wait to go back! Pros: great pie, nice booths, feels like NY more

the place for wings 6/2/2004

I love this place, and their sweet tea. They have the best meatball subs, wings, and of course, PIZZA. Don't forget to visit their Winter Springs Location, now open on Red Bug Rd. I'm so glad, now I can go enjoy their lunch specials on my break from work! They rock! Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly staff, Great food more

Lil Anthonys 4/15/2004

L'il Anthony's Pizza Restaurant is the first place i choose to eat after being overseas for two years. They remembered me with a warm smile and a welcome back. I am Stationed overseas in the USAF and they make you feel welcome anytime. The food is second to none Thanks Steve Hernandez more

Best Pizza 10/24/2003

I was so happy to log on and see that L'il Anthony's was on the list. I totally agree. It is the best tasting New York style pizza around. When you go in and sit down, take one bite, if you close your eyes, you feel like you are really home. My home being New York. I just wanted to take the opportunity and share that if you haven't tried it you are missing out. I strongly recommend it. Keep up the good work. more

ALpctech 7/29/2003

I do love this place and it needs a bigger dining area though Pros: food, service Cons: more wine more

HUH? 6/30/2003

I do not claim to be the pizza expert, but I don't understand people raving about this place. I have had NY pizza at several locations in Manhattan and they were all really good. But, L'il Anthony's is not even close to that. The crust is salty and tough, the sauce is just okay and the cheeze is chewy. I guess everyone is comparing it to Dominoes or something. For a great NY style pizza my top choice is Johnny's Rockin' Bistro. Del Dios or Papa Joes are also both waaay better than L'il Anthony's. Pros: Convenient, Not a big chain Cons: Mediocre quality, Not the best tasting more

A slice of New York in Orlando 6/5/2003

Ive eaten at many pizza parlors throughout Orlando and Florida and NO ONE comes as close to New York than Lil' Anthony's. Being someone who grew up just north of NYC during the 80's, when and where the only major chain pizzaria was the Hut, family chains ruled the market! Going into Anthony's does bring me back: it's quaint, with TV's and pictures of Hollywood and sports stars, and the staff is courteous and efficient, this all makes a typical NY pizzaria. They have all the toppings and then some - I suggest sun-dried tomato, spinach and feta cheese, one word - WOW! They do have other specialties, but the pizza is to die for, so I never have tried other dishes. It's inexpensive and well worth the drive from anywhere in Central Florida. Pros: good service, many topping choices, retro atmosphere more

tasty pie 2/9/2003

Great pizza! Without knowing how rude NY people can be, I'm at a disadvantage. I do think the staff can be rude and slow at times (and it doesn't have to do with the amount of people eating. Pizza and Greek salads make up for it if you can handle the hassle. Stoms are better then the Cals. Pizza is the best. more

Simply the BEST!! 12/30/2002

I used to be a big NYPD and Anthony's fan but I must tell you Lil' Anthony's takes the cake!!! If you are a true New Yorker these guys know their role.............And for those of you whom think the service is rude YOU ARE IN A NY Pizza joint..............GET OVER IT!!! The prices are great, the food right from NY, and the house flavoring...........SIMPLY THE BEST!! Pros: Food, Service, Culture more

Good pizza, rude staff 12/24/2002

The pizza is one of the best in Orlando that I have found. Unfortunately, the staff can be a little rude. When we order, we bring it home so we dont have to deal with that for very long. Pros: very good pizza Cons: staff can be rude more
