Life Plaza / Diamond Plaza 3/18/2006

Diamond Plaza is a plaza located in Rowland Heights that I often frequent. It is located close to the Fullerton Rd. / Colima intersection. There are many Chinese restraints and miscellaneous stores to visit. Of my favorites, I like to visit the Infinity Arcade, Cue, Life Plaza, and Ten Ren’s Tea Place. At night the place is often packed with people and parking can be a hassle. However, regardless it is still a great place just to visit or hang out with friends at. more

LIFE PLAZA 12/15/2005

If you have nothing to do and is around Rowland Heights, you can drop by here. Life Plaza has all kinds of asian things magazines, boosks, CDs, DVDs, cosmetics, goods, clothes, china, toys, things for your cool cars, and etc... Not only they sell things, they also have chinese restaurant over there. A lot of Chinese people visit this place. There is a big parking space in front of LIFE PLAZA but for some reason the area is always PACKED!!! The parking space for cars are very tight close to each other too. But it's a cool place to check it out. more

Late Night? Life Plaza! 12/8/2005

Life Plaza in Rowland Heights is a great place to go if you're looking for a late night snack, drink (non-alcoholic), or gift. They have very good food at pretty decent prices, great boba (especially when they are having their Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion), and great little gifts that you can't find anywhere else. If you go on a weekend, it is usually packed but this place, while not the best food or service, is good because it is open late. On weeknights, expect lots of college aged kids to hang out there. more

Open late 9/25/2005

The life cafe seems to never close. It's a nice hangout place. If you are studying late, and need a quick food of even a boba run, you can go to life cafe, they are open until 2am. The only downfall, is that a few not so good people hang around that area, so it is a little scary. But if you mind your own business, there shouldn't be a problem. It is nice because inside they have the magazines, Chinese and Japanese, but I do not recall seeing korean. And then they have those pencil stuffed animal cartoony things. The best part is the food. although the food is not as spectacular like some real chinese food, the good thing is that it's clean and healthy tasting, so I guess that this is a trade off. more

Another open late place to check out 9/24/2005

What I love about Life Plaza is that you can get so much from this place. They have magazines, sanrio or morning glory type of trinkets, they have vases and other ceramic dishes. The main part about life plaza is their food. They have boba that you can get buy 1 get 1 free. It's amazing. And their portions are very generous. The place itself stays open until 2am daily, and believe it or not it is always packed. That is also the downfall, sometimes seating to eat is difficulty due to the crowds. But it is a place that you have to check out. more

Good for kids 8/23/2005

This is a cool place for all types of people because it’s open very late at night, and also provides a great deal of cool stores to browse during the day. My little sister loves the store that sells Chinese paper supplies because she can get cute school supplies and diaries and such. more

Fun Night Life 8/22/2005

At Life plaza they have so much. They have a sushi bar, they have a dim sum restaurant, boba, a small cafe. The Life cafe place, is a little healthier way of eating Chinese food. They have boba. A lot of times they have buy 1 drink get 1 free. The only downfall is that whoever is getting the free one better like the flavor you get. The dim sum place is huge and located on the 2nd floor of the plaza. It overlooks the 60 freeway. The food is pretty good, not too bad. The service there is not too bad either, even when the place is packed. Life Plaza is open until the wee hours of the night. So if you are done with clubbing a little early, or done with parties, or getting home from a date that didn't go so well, stop by life plaza. There is always something happening there. more

life plaza 8/17/2005

Life Plaza is well known in the puente hills area as a local hang out to eat, drink, or shop for stationary and toys. There are all kinds of different kinds of gifts to purchase, from magazines, to housewares, to stuffed dolls, to pens and stationary, to Asian snacks and candies. more

Stationery, gifts, and hangout 8/17/2005

Located in Diamond Plaza, this store has become quite a hangout for many of the teens and twenty-somethings in the area because of the cafe inside. The stationery store has a large selection of Japanese and Chinese paper goods, toys, accessories, gifts, and magazines. They're open pretty late at night on weekends, but the street-level parking can be a problem at those times. There is underground parking that seems to be more available. more
