I can not begin to say enough good thing about Dr. Kraabel and the staff at Lien Animal Clinic. I have a pug who had a congenital problem and they took the best loving care of him...

AVOID!! Do NOT take any animal there.\r \r A neighbor "rescued" my "lost" dog (the dog had just run out and was 2 houses down from mine) and took her to Lien Animal Clinic. In...

Great, compassionate, caring staff 5/4/2010

I brought both my dogs to Lien Animal Clinic for their whole lives. The staff saw through wellness, injuries and cancer. They helped us manage it all with care and sound advice and treatment. When it was time to say goodbye, they could not have been nicer to us. I would highly recommend them more

they are fantastic and kind 5/13/2009

we take our english bulldogs to Lien and they have been able to help us with so many things. They are great at referring us to who we should see for special problems. They have facilitated a cardiologist Dr. Woodfield to see my female bully, and recommended both a specialist surgeon, board certified for my male bully and also an animal dermatologist. I trust them with my precious babies and I don't trust almost anyone. I know there are some negative reviews on here but I would recommend them to anyone. Besides Bulldogs are difficult to treat and two of their vets actually own frenchies. more

My Dog Can't Use Her Leg!!! 10/3/2006

My puppy broke her leg and we had it cast at 5 corners in Burien late at night. Lien was supposed to fix it the next day if it was uncorrectly cast to begin with, but they never did even after they took X-Rays, assuming that it was cast correctly to begin with, I didn't worry. Every week that I had her recasted (by Lien), they charged me a different price for the same thing that I had done the previous week. Doesn't make any sense at all? I had to take my paperwork back from the previous time and show them that I had been overcharged time and time again. When I was supposed to bring her in and leave her there for the day, I got a call after 1 hour and was told to come and pick her back up because they couldn't do what was scheduled that day. But I was at school so I couldn't get there until about 2 hours later. I was expecting that I wasn't supposed to be there until 5pm since this is what I was told. When I got there, my dog had been there about 3 hours and they tried to charge me a whole days kenneling fee, even though they didn't do any work on her. They told me to reschedule so i would have to bring her in again, and pay another kenneling fee later. So they charged me twice. After some months went by, my dog got her cast off. I was charged a total of about $3000.00 throughout the whole process and guess what!!! THEY DIDN'T HEAL MY DOGS LEG CORRECTLY SO NOW SHE CAN'T WALK ON IT!!! After that much money and stress, they won't even see my dog for free to tell me what I can do to help her. They want to charge me $50.00 to look at her leg AGAIN. All they had to do was cast the leg correctly, which they apparently couldn't do. I'm not one to complain, but when my dog is suffering and I paid out a lot to fix the problem, and nothing was done correctly, I think I have a right to be pretty upset. I would not recommend Lien. more

Personalized Touches 8/21/2005

I like Lien because they are a small clinic, and really understand just how important pets are to people. When I brought in my housecat, who is pretty darn far, instead of getting scolded the vet acknowledged that some house cats just do get fat and it wasn't a big deal. That's not to say they don't take real medical problems seriously, just that they have a realistic view of things. Once when I had to have a pet put down, they sent a personalized card signed by the staff. It is the attention to small details, like the correct spelling of your pets name on records, that really sets them apart. more

Good Vet on the west side 5/4/2005

I got my dog from a breeder on the west side and this is where she took all her dogs and puppies and told us that she highly recommends this place. We don't go there because it is too far for us but would try it out if we were on the west side. more
