Vendors and buyers beware! We bought a china cabinet marked ""firm"" last week. The owner told us that she could not negotiate firm prices. We paid cash for our item because she said this particular vendor does not accept cards. After we picked up our item I returned to see if I could get the tag that was attached to it because it had some interesting history about the piece written on it. I saw the tag on the front counter, and the price we paid was crossed out and a new price ($50 less) was written on the tag. I asked her about it and she quickly told me that she tried to negotiate the price but the vendor wouldn't change it. Red flags immediately went up! Why negotiate the price after the sale? She had already said she couldn't negotiate! And why write the new price on the tag when the vendor said no? We also wanted to contact the seller to find out more information about the piece but she would not give us her #. We asked her to give the vendor ours, but she wouldn't do that either. Why?! She is clearly stealing from her vendors and customers by negotiating prices after sales. We will not purchase anything from this place again.
