Everyone and anyone seems to come here -- I've seen the most diverse crowds in Chicago at Liar's Club. Punks, hipsters, Trixies all seem to get along just fine and DJs cater to everyone by playing Danzig then Nelly then Peter Murphy then Prince. The bartenders aren't all that friendly, but they'll serve you swiftly. If you're looking to escape the crowd, head upstairs. You can't hear the downstairs DJ and punk is blaring, but a second bar will surely be less crowded. Don't miss the old-time photo booth on the first floor.
