Worse of the worse!!! Sloppy service that they did and put my life in danger. WOULD NOT TRUST THIS PLACE if your life depends on it. The only reason I gave it one star it's because they wouldn't let me post the review without rating it. Lexus of Bellevue sure know to put the shame to their name more

Outstanding Service 4/25/2011

I'm writing to share the "Status quo" and the outstanding performance of Lexus of Bellevue's service reps. I had a 'lost key' issue for my LX470. I called and was told by a service rep that my only alternative was to replace the locks and ignition for a whopping $1400!! I asked him for any possible alternatives and he stated none whatsoever!! When I suggested the possibility of "re-coding" locks and remote, he said "Lexus of Bellevue" doesn't repair only R&R with new. Short and not so sweet or helpful! Fortunately for LOB and me, I had to believe there was more to consider. I drove to the dealership and asked to speak with a long time Lexus rep with considerable experience. I was introduced to "AJ" Jensen. "AJ" should stand for "Absolute Jewel"!! While I realize I was looking for alternatives, AJ took the time to "listen" to the whole story, offered up alternatives and made it all happen right then and there. He brought back the true meaning of service dept. Not looking for the simplest or most costly solution, but making the customer feel valued and & offering alternatives for the customer. He closed our time together by asking that I share my experience with other lexus friends. So yes, AJ did not collect $1400 but he did represent L of B in the most professional manner and with true "customer service". Of course that will reap far more income beyond the $1400 he saved me! Word of mouth is so powerful and adds so much to the income and reputation! more

Nothing Special About Sales Visit Experience 4/19/2011

The dealership said they could help me order the car I want. I went in to visit a salesman that was recommended by a friend. He was friendly up until the point that I asked if I could get a good deal. He got mad as if he was insulted by what I asked. It seemed as if I wasted his two hours of time. He stated that the dealership only sold cars at MSRP and went to explain how he sold this-and-that at MSRP to every other customer. My friend said that he got a good deal when he bought a car from this salesman but now I am wondering if he was talking about the same guy? Not willing to negotiate or obtain the vehicle is one thing, but being unfriendly about it is another. He expected me to call back after the way he treated me but of course I did not. I ended up looking elsewhere for a vehicle. Other dealerships don't always sell at MSRP! more

Pawned off on creepy sales "manager" 6/2/2007

We went to Lexus of Belluvue to purchase my son a used car listed online. Once there, we were shuttled between two salespeople. I can only presume that they were busy with larger commission sales because we were repeatedly told the car we were purchasing was listed lower than it should have been and would normally have been wholesaled out before they had to fix oil leaks, etc. After 3 1/2 hours of waiting for them to find the car, waiting to print the paperwork, waiting to confirm what they would fix (and wouldn't) we had to deal with the stereotypical pushy used car salesman. The first two salespeople were great and low key. Once we finished with Mr. Pushy, we were shuttled to finance. After telling her four times that we were not interested in the extended warranty, she finally got the message. more

Creepy Yuppy Service 9/13/2006

Went there for a key. Everyone in suits, cooing like doves at me. Bunch of skinny bone-showing micro models wandering around on heels answering the phones. Lots of polo shirts and boaters with no socks getting their cars fixed. Jesus, this place is out of a Tom Wolfe novel. Why don't we call it "Backfire of the Vanities?" Yes, they treated me ok, but its just a car and I don't want my shoes shined and my ass powdered when I take my car in for service. Can't we get some down home White Center attitude instead? At least that would be genuine and not creep folks out. more

Great Sales department, LAME service department 8/18/2005

I was sure in for a big surprise when I walked into Lexus of Bellevue to purchase a Lexus Coupe. The sales department was first class - everything went perfectly (in contrast to my horrible experience with Bellevue BMW) with talking price, scheduling times for test drives, etc. (I might also mention that I prefer the BMW product over the Lexus, but the sales experience between the two Bellevue area dealerships was completely opposite). Once owning the Lexus, I came back for a service issue and that is when my second surprise arrived - I don't think they could have handled it any worse. The car was not only not fixed, but they scratched the door and gave me back my car with nothing fixed and more damage. Trying to get this issue resolved was absolutely horrible. I finally went to my sales guy and said, "Look, Dude, you were great, but what the heck is going on over here in service?". He apologized and handled the issue and urged that I write a letter, which I did. But I shouldn't have to write a letter to get my Lexus serviced and even though I wrote a letter, I was not compensated in any way other than the fact they took my car for a week while they had the door repainted. Even then the problem wasn't resolved and it took yet a 4th trip to get the issue fixed. The attitudes and overal customer experience at Lexus of Bellevue in service is very poor, so I would recommend purchasing a Lexus there, but servicing it elsewhere (Lexus of Seattle, etc). more
