I tried Lexidog on Macadam but each time we've taken our dogs it was a headache. When we had our dogs tested to see if they will allow them Macadam was too busy & told us to go to the Pearl and said they won't need shot records. We went to the Pearl & they do need shot records, which we didn't bring, so we had our vet fax them & waited an hour & they didn?t even apologize for the miscommunication. When we boarded our dogs on Macadam the Pearl location forgot to tell Macadam they were okay to board so waited 30-45 min for the Pearl to fax the papers. The next time we boarded them the lady was so ditzy she wasn?t familiar w/ the prices & could not add even w/ a calculator & had to re-write the form 4 times & it took an hour. The time after that they forgot to give our dogs baths & asked us to come back in a few hours which they still charged us for. The final straw was when I booked our dogs to be dropped off on Labor Day. They said they were open & if that changed they would call me. I called a few weeks later to verify & was told the same thing. On Labor Day I went to drop my dogs off & they decided to close. There was someone there but she didn?t want to let us in so we had to explain the situation. I called the manager at the Pearl location but they wouldn?t even come to the phone & said they would leave a message with the manager at the Macadam store ? the manager never even called me back. When I picked up my dogs there were NO apologies & they acted like it was my fault & said I was told that drop-offs on Labor Day were from 8-9 am - I called twice & no one told me this! They also decided all of a sudden that you have to pay in advance but never bothered to tell us. Considering they charge a TON you would think they would get their act together. My dogs love the place, but each experience I?ve had has been bad & I am done with this place. I found a cheaper daycare that my dogs love just as much & there are no hassles, which is how it should be.
Pros: Treat dogs well, have huge open space for them to play
Cons: Expensive, poor communication, terrible customer service
