Good sandwiches, Average Salads, Love the Delivery 2/10/2010

I find myself orderring from Lenny's once a week and would more often if it wouldn't be strange/obsessive.\r Their on-line experience sets them apart from most places I order.\r The sandwiches are the reason to go to Lenny's. They have a giant menu to select from and you can customize it in a million different ways.\r The ingredients are obviously fresh & of good quality. I tend to order extra sides so i can have a late night meal or lunch the following day.\r Despite the other reviews, I think Lenny's is worth stopping in for a quick lunch or to have something deliverred to your apartment on a lazy saturday morning. Pros: delivery, price, sandwich quality, selection, fresh Cons: Drinks & Salads are not cheap more

overpriced korean deli 12/19/2008

wayyyy over priced for what is essentially another korean deli. The sandwiches are not bad, but not better than the deli down the street. I think that in this economy, it's just not worth it. Cons: overpriced korean owned deli more

avoid the salads! 3/28/2007

Today I stopped into the new Lennys NYC on west 9th at 6th ave. I usually have a salad for lunch and the best bets in the neighborhood are Cosi and Toasties NYC. I marched up to the counter and noticed they had a very wide variety of very fresh looking toppings then threw my order in. Mixed greens, tofu, cranberries, almonds, & feta - chopped please. All seemed to be going well until I noticed the size of the container they were going to throw it in. About half the size of those standard bullet looking salad containers many places have. \r \r Ok, I figured well, it's chopped so maybe it warrants half the size. Worse, when they dumped the salad from the bowl into the container it only filled half the bowl. No joke, this salad was scantly larger than a side salad at many restaurants and then the kicker...my salad was $9.50. Even if I splurge at Toasties, get the works, my salad is less than that. And the ever so delicious salads at Cosi are less than that as well. This salad was maybe a third to a quarter of the size of Cosi and Toasties and cost MORE money!\r \r I actually photographed the salad and emailed it to their corporate office.\r \r I'm off to pick up a second lunch now.\r \r Avoid Lenny's salads! Pros: wide variety of salad toppings Cons: will charge you an insane amount of money for a very measly salad more
