We had a passable experience at Leith Lincoln. Decent salesperson and a good deal on the car we wanted. As far as those parts went, we had no complaints. Why one star? A finance officer that kept us waiting for three hours and an asinine company policy that discriminates against customers who don't use brick-and-mortar banks. Mind you, we had our financing in order: Pre-approved funds, plus our trade-in and a check from savings to cover the rest. That didn't stop the finance officer from taking three hours to tell us that they couldn't accept our check. We've used ING Direct for years and absolutely love them, but because the check wasn't stamped and certified by a bank down the road, the deal was put on hold. ""Company policy."" Well, Leith Lincoln, your company policy is antiquated, idiotic, and discriminatory against folks like us who prefer to manage money online. I can only hope some of those folks read this review before they bother having their time wasted like we did.
