Its funny how I see all these peoples reviews & they seem to have some holes in their stories. You never hear about the underlying reasons such as; their insurance should have been responsible for storage, not them personally, or how much of a deductible did they have and was LEIF's a preffered shop or not? Well, I have the best coverage with the lowest deductible so I pay more for excellent coverage and when I ran into problems with the ""preferred' shop (Kadel's) for State Farm ins & I recommend NEVER taking it there, I had to research & take my car somewhere else. Well despite all the bad things I heard about LEIF's I was told by other shops that they do fight the ins company & put the customer first, so I gave it a try. My car, which is a classic collector car by the way, sat at the 'preferred"" shop, outside in the weather for 8 weeks. It accumilated mold inside as it was during the big snow season while I recieved the ""pass the buck"" syndrome from my rep from both my insurance & the bodyshop with excuses & lies as to why my car wasnt being worked on after the Ins comp said to fix it. I was then bullied by not only my ins rep but the adjuster & rep at the shop who refused to fix my car. On top of all this, my whole front clip (side fenders, front bumper etc.) were all stuffed into my car creating more damage to parts & interior by the ""prefferred"" shop.I HAD to take it somewhere else before it got any worse so, I called LEIF's. they immediately picked up my car with NO charges on towing to me. The word got around how I was treated by my ins comp & the next thing you know LEIF Hansen himself wanted to meet with me. I was scared at first that it was going to be what I didnt want to hear. Well, it wasnt. He was honest with me on what could & couldnt be done & he asked me what I wanted. I said I just wanted my car back drivable & aligned as it was before the accident. To my disbelief my rep contacted me & told me LEIF was doing the work himself because he may have felt I was getting the short end of the deal with my ins comp & they werent willing to pay enough money to have my car fixed. 2 weeks later I recieved my car. LEIF being a brilliant & generous business man saved me HUNDREDS of dollars & beat the insurance company in this sad recession of companies that try & save every cent no matter who pays the cost as long as it isnt them. I, by the way, have a clean record with no accidents & the best deductible for over 20 years & have never been treated so badly with my ins comp I have had for over 20 years. Needless to say, they are HISTORY & I am in the process of court with them. THANK YOU LEIF for caring about your customers first.
