I had a very bad experience after getting an Exilis Treatment at Lecada Medical Atristry. I've been in a lot of PAIN over the last 2+ weeks after having this procedure. When I called the very next day after my treatment to tell them about my pain, I was told the physician was NOT in the office. I was transferred from person to person with not one of them offering to even call one of the doctors. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told she was not there. After several phone calls and 10 days later, the owner finally called me, but once again , I was advised the physician was NOT in the office at that time. She informed me I would have to wait an additional four days to see the physician. After that day, she REFUSED to speak to me on the phone or in person and began emailing me. She accused me of not calling when I had phone records to prove it, she contradicted herself many times. She finally agreed that she would speak to me at my appointment and agreed to quit sending me emails. At my appointment, the physician told me she could feel the knot/nodule and would be "VERY CONCERNED" if it was her and advised me to see my own physician. This knot was CAUSED by a treatment done at this business, yet they refused to send me to get an ultrasound. (They did not have an ultrasound machine in the office.) While I was there, the nurse raised her voice at me, lied to me and to the doctor and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was left in the room for several minutes being told that the owner would come in and speak to me. She NEVER did. I'm in pain and have a knot or nodule in my lower abdomen that was NOT there BEFORE the treatment (I have proof of that as well because I had been examined by a doctor and had a Pet Scan just prior to the treatment.) They have REFUSED to do anything for me. Can we say MEDICAL MALPRACTICE?
